Thank you so much!! Even though only a few viewed this lesson, it doesn't matter!! You taught me so much!! You're a outstanding teacher!! I have a hard time with theory and I'm trying to learn it. You made it easy for me to learn and have the light bulb in my head go off!! No one has done that except you!! Thanks again Blue!! I subbed!!

Great lesson, I learned a lot here. I struggle with theory, and it's really held me back with working songs out. Having it explained is loads better than watching videos that just play the parts through a few times. Thanks.

Glad you like it. I have a new one coming out this week in the same "live" format on the solo from the Beatles' "Something."

Thank you for both of these lessons. I love playing "Janis-related" songs. Just wish it wasn't so hard to find someone willing to attempt to sing them. She really put the bar pretty high up there.

Haha true indeed, not easy to sing these songs well.

Great lesson. Definitely the best teacher by far. Appreciate not only the lesson but the theory behind it. Looks like I’m a year behind everyone else finding your channel but glad I did. Thanks again

Very well described. You're very patient. Well laid out, in the introduction, where you described the approach (and why). Very good stepwise approach to learning a passage, exactly how i do it. (I guess that's why I like it!) Thanks for that !

Im obsessed with your lessons! Please do the other part of this song ..is it too simple? Should I be able to figure it out on my own ?
@GuitarLessonsVancouver Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'm trying not to do videos about specific songs with copyright on YT now but your suggestion is a good one. I'll think about doing that either here or in Patreon just to complete this series so we have the whole song

Thank you for posting. How about Part three - the rest of the song?

Hi Bill thanks glad you enjoyed it. I'll consider doing more songs on here later but for now my videos on soloing techniques have been performing much better here on YT

Thanks for buying it! Not sure about book 2. Sales have been slow but they have been picking up. If you enjoy the book, please leave a review on Amazon and that will help 😄

Why the e scale harmonized over the tune?
@GuitarLessonsVancouver2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rodney, the song is in the key of E major and all the chords in the song come from that key. So he uses the E major scale harmonized to create that section as all those notes will fit over those chords.
