Heres the thing about how TT:Go is getting so many viewers, it's what I like to call the Johny Test effect. If you play nothing but the show at almost all hours, you are going to get viewers, and with a ton of lazy parents that want to let the TV raise their kids, they'll just sit their kids down and have them watch TT:Go like with what happened on Johny Test. The content was garbage, the animation was garbage, but it still somehow reached a high viewership and that was by how they aired the show at all hours in huge blocks and marathons. When you make it the only thing to watch, it's going to be the only thing to watch.

+Rave Raptor me and you had the same johnny test thing but mine was the Johnny test syndrome but unlike TTG Johnny test in all honesty was good when it first came out i say when it moved to CN for its 4th season onward it got stale fast and people just got sick of johnny test cause we can all not care for the animation but if its repective, doesnt try anything outside the box cause johnny test only had 3-4 main types of plots, johnny steals something form the girls lab, johnny gets tested on and has to get changed back or save the city/ world, johnny and his allies and enemys have a race, and his bling bling fights. i say johnny would have still been good if they experimented. TTG just has the repetivness of johnny test but TTG was never good when it came out.

I'm happy to have watched this video. I actually thought about making a video of this myself, but you have said everything right here. Coming from someone who watches the show, I have made several videos about episodes of the series, and I have even expressed my own complaints about TTG!, with some episodes being unfunny, and the constant advertising as examples. . But as of recently, I haven't been in the mood to make anymore TTG! videos, because unless an interesting episode comes out, I have felt like I have said everything about it, pros and cons, so I don't want to become repetitive. Also, my interest for the show itself has been getting low. So yes, thanks for making this.

Sir, make that three. They made an episode called "The Fourth Wall." Also, why does TTG make the "antagonist" , the one that makes the most sense. In one episode Raven says you shouldn't sell your.... teeth. As a metaphor you should never be a sell-out to make something worth more, or something tangible that is costly. The others say no and sell out. Later, Raven visits the Tooth Fairy to get the teeth. Blah blah blah, has to eat teeth. 0_o And Raven says that teeth are delicious. Moral of the story, don't sell out but eat what you're selling. 0_0 I hate this show.

Not just because the show is dumbed down to mediocrity but because meta wise it's for stupid fucking kids who will watch and enjoy things. It's not that TTG is made for them but simply because it exists. And I know when I was little there were things I watched then for no reason and realized now they sucked. TTG falls in the category of drivel that will never be timeless...like those shows I hate now. Teen Titans Go is just a part of this odd syndrome of shows spinning off of famous franchises like movies and other TV shows and just depending on THAT to carry the show. Teen Titans Go and Avengers Assemble are perfect examples of this(oddly enough, they were both the successors of way better shows cut too short). Who needs effort when we can just lean on this popular thing? Not everything with obvious influence from a popular movie or TV show is like this(Transformers Prime is an example of it being done right), but it seems to be this thing that's starting up.

They expect you to care about this stuff since you watched the movies, but they ultimately failed. I wouldn't say it's as bad as Teen Titans GO(really, a lot of my rage towards it is the fact that they cancelled the awesome Earth's Mightiest Heroes series JUST to make it), but it belongs in the same category since they both lean on brand recognition, and less on the quality of the show.

Honestly, when Teen Titans Go was announced, I've long moved on from the original Teen Titans. The show ended in 2006, and I thought it had a good run. I was looking forward to it, it was something different and I loved the New Teen Titans shorts. And then I watched it. It started out bad, but not terrible. Then they make episodes ripping off the original, it started getting lazier, and then IT STARTED RESPONDING TO CRITICISM. But as much as terrible and lazy as these writers are, I would really not waste my breath on them. Calling them on their bs is one thing, but sending death threats to writers or saying that you'll beat them up or saying they should be arrested is just pathetic. And to all those who say "Give us back the real Teen Titans!" The original Teen Titans will never come back. And I personally think it's for the best.

I've noticed they've cut down on the ads for TTG on CN on demand, replacing them with We Bare Bears ads. Maybe it's a sign of good things to come? I said it before, and I'll say it again. There needs to be quality control for kids shows. Because there doesn't seem to be any, shows like Johnny Test and now Teen Titans Go! were able to be very cheaply made and aired ALL THE TIME!!! There are times that I want to watch shows like The Amazing World of Gumball or We Bare Bears, but I can't because there is a 6 hour marathon of TTG!. Every single day. This show has been going on since April of 2013. In just 2 seasons it had 104 episodes. Then you look at a show like My little Pony: Friendship is Magic. That show has been going on since October of 2010 and has 117 episodes in 5 seasons. But if you compare to another CN show, like Regular Show, you can see that that show got up to 204 episodes, but did so in 7 seasons in 5 years. And what are the ratings for each of the shows? Regular Show: IMDb: 8.4 TV.com: 7.8 MLP:FiM: IMDb: 7.8 TV.com: 8.9 TTG!: IMDb: 5.3 TV.com: 2.7 The numbers don't lie. TTG! is a bad show, and while some people like it, I can't, and so do many critics.

I watched the first episode and I wasn't interested. The only time I've ever watched a full episode (excluding reviews) after this first episode is when I'm babysitting and they might have it on (Side note: TTG! might not popular in Canada. The little girls I were watching did not know who the characters were, but they were also 5 and 2, so that might play into it too). The comics for the show seem more like their actual characters imo, but people will always go too far with defending a show or hating a show always. It's the nature of the Internet and this list explained a lot to me. I knew it was popular, but I had never seen an ad for it since CN doesn't interest me much excluding SU which I watch online. I really liked the list, PieGuy! Maybe you could do one about Spongebob?

There is one good thing about TTG and that is it will eventually get cancelled just like any other show. After all, nothing lasts forever. Same with Spongebob and when those shows end I will be there eagerly waiting to see what the next big shows will be to replace them. Nick will especially be needing a good replacement show for once they decide to cancel Spongebob and I...have ideas. Lots and lots of show ideas. I want to be a writer. It is a dream of mine to write for an animated show. I already have character ideas, a plot and story ideas. All I need is a chance to pull it all off and animators since I, personally do not know how to animate. But, I do have character design ideas. So, once Spongebob ends and Nick becomes desperate for a new hit show I will be there to take full advantage once the opportunity to do so presents itself. Besides, if such awful shows like TTG and Breadwinners can by some miracle make it on the air then I am confident that at least one of my show ideas will as well. It is shows like those that lead me to believe that pretty much any cartoon can make it no matter how terrible and god awful it is. So long as they get the views needed they will live. In the meantime, at least there are plenty of good, quality shows out there for me to enjoy and I can always just rewatch episodes from the original Teen Titans online whenever I want.

I think the answer is obvious: Terrible things get more attention. All those 2 Kwl 4 Skwl live action cg hybrids make unnatural amounts of money and are shoved down people's throats, while masterpieces are left behind and forgotten.

There's three major things that are keeping me from liking this show, and that have actually made me hate it with a burning passion. 1. The characters, they are completely flat. They lack depth and are more annoying than they are likable. In the original show, sure Beast Boy and Cyborg were best buds who liked to act strange and weird at time, but there it hurt no one, and was more endearing. In Go, they're the exact opposite. The only character that didn't get on my nerves as much was Raven. 2. The situations the episodes themselves aren't engaging. If there's some big conflict, it's always rushed and never feels as urgent as it could have been. And don't get me started on the Slade episode. 3. And probably the biggest reason, the morals suck. I know some say they don't have any, but at the end of almost every episode they try teaching some kind of moral, and if it's a good one like in No Powers, they always screw it up. Not only is this stupid, but it could also effect the children watching the show. Yes, children take in stuff like that, and may use it to some extent because they saw it off their favorite show.

Here's the main thing about TTG: No it is not a good show. It is hit or miss at best and it often feels like the creators just write things shortly before the deadline. it was a terrible idea (artistically) to use these beloved characters in a show that has nothing to do with them where they all act like dicks. But...the show is a huge success anyway. They got the demographic they wanted (6-13 year olds), they are supplying them with exactly what they want. Because of this they don't really NEED to do anything, the people complaining might even have valid criticisms from an artistic standpoint, but as far as they are concerned it's mostly just shouting from a demographic that this show isn't even meant for anyway. many of them would involve changing the show entirely from the ground up and they're not gonna do that to a highly successful property just because some people didn't like it, even if they might be right about some things. in that sense, it is better to try and forget about this show entirely and not give it too much attention.

what I don't understand is why CN is so vehemently fucking against rebooting the original.
