That episode was just a pathetic attempt by the writers to justify their childish spin on the original Teen Titans with "Toddler Titans" (you get a cookie if you get the reference =P). You can tell that the writers are too egotistical to admit that they wrote a low quality (if you can call it that) show. The original Teen Titans was just like Avatar: a perfect mix of a story driven plot with jokes to lighten up the mood from time to time. Toddler Titans is just an insult to anyone with an IQ of above 10.

Im going to be completely honest, and by doing so i will probably get a few funny looks. *I liked TTG in the **_beginning._* Now, let me explain: Its not that it was necessarily good, and in comparison to the old show it was no where near as good. But, it had some sort of charm. It was still finding itself in those first few episodes and as such the characters were closer to their original incarnations on the original show. However, after the first few aired, things got twisted. They started to use stereotypes *in completely the wrong way* and began to twist the characters into stereotypes them selves. They became awfully cliched and while the first few episodes had pretty ok humor at best, later episodes acted like they just did not give a fuck. It got progressively worse from something bearable to something unwatchable with the same level of humor as jingling keys in a babies face. *Fuck this show.*

I have an Idea for a Teen Titans go season finale. The Titans are wondering why everyone hates them so much, and realize that it's because the original was so much better. They then decide to watch the original series. After doing so, they realize that the original IS so much better, in so many ways. They wonder what they had become, and realize that it's the Writer's fault. They then decide to confront the writers of Teen Titans Go in an epic climactic battle, in a similar fashion to the original Teen Titans. But, The Titans find themselves defeated. When the writer is about to kill them all, they ask him why he decided to write this reboot so poorly. He says that the show is meant for little kids. They remind him what the Teen Titans are really about, and the writer realizes his mistake and apologizes, and promises to make the show enjoyable for all ages in newer episodes. It then cuts to a live action shot of the cast of Teen Titans Go and they personally apologize to everyone for making the show so awful, and promise to do better next time. The show goes on a hiatus, and we get a new season of amazingly written episodes! Now THAT's how you end a season.

Cameron Huff Oh shit. When did they do that? I thought Adventure Time was their new mascot, but ever since that soccermom Christine Miller took over, they've shown very few reruns of Adventure Time and Regular Show, when they used to air too many! Now it's this crappy show and Gumball dominating the network AND Boomerang, with some Uncle Grandpa on the side! And to think that I thought Uncle Grandpa would flop hard the way Problem Solverz and Secret Mountain Fort Awesome did. I can't believe that I'm saying this, but I miss Stuart Snyder. He may have cancelled Toonami and started CN Real, but at least once CN Real failed, he actually did good for the network, but no one will give him credit for doing so. And to say that he wanted to get rid of all cartoons is a strawman argument. No one working for Cartoon Network ever said that ever. I can tell you one thing though-the new president is trying to get rid of everything that isn't a fucking SpongeBob clone.

My own problem with the show is how mean-spirited it is. Every episode's plot involves one of the characters annoying, backstabbing, or being a jerk to another character (and most of the time, the jerk character comes out on top). Compound that with the fact that several times, they'll not only attack the original Teen Titans, but also better shows like Young Justice and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If it was funny, I could forgive it, but all of the jokes, when they're not about characters being jerks, are just bad attempts at starting a meme.

Then I watched some of the recent episodes when they had a marathon up to the Steven Universe crossover episode (I can't wait for him to review it!) and honestly, it is pretty decent compared to episodes like this and the upcoming TMNT episode (One of the clips I saw for that episode when commercials aired is when one of the turtles says, "Their humor is too goofy and random!" They're repeating the same issue as they did with Let's Get Serious!

Zeetee Pippi the thing I like about Uncle Grandpa is the character himself is actually a pretty nice guy, he never acts like a jerk for no reason, he helps kids with thier problems and he has a very friendly relationship with his friends. Sure he maybe little stupid, but he's more likeably stupid that kinda reminds me of pre-movie Patrick and Ed from Ed Edd n' Eddy. The only asshole character on UG is Pizza Steve but atleast on that show aside from UG himself nobody really likes Pizza Steve. Atleast he gets punished for his jerky behaviour like the "Prank Wars" episode.

I was the on-the-fence guy with this show when it first came out (some episodes were funny, while others were bad), but after seeing tons of reruns of it while spending March Break in Florida, I was pretty much exposed to what makes this series absolutely horrible. This episode was among them, and one of the many reasons I've given up giving this show a fair chance. Your rant from 4:45-5:43 was glorious in every fact you pointed out about this lousy excuse for a show. The thing I hate about this show the most: the adverts. They talk down to the viewer, as if they are watching -Playhouse Disney- Disney Junior, especially on the Raven/Starfire ones. Then they have the AUDACITY to say it is " *your* new favorite show" is literally telling the viewer to like their show, not even just saying it is good, but saying *THE VIEWER* thinks it is good. One thing I hate about Teen Titan's Go ENTIRELY is the fact you you can TELL the creator of Teen Titans Go, it watching each episode, and WRITING as he goes along, because as revealed, he never saw not one episode of TT in his life. Take the whole Jinx and Cyborg thing, and the that episode just flat out said to me "Hey, the original was just watched by the creator, and he is now writing an episode about how Jinx and Cyborg should be together" It feels like this ENTIRE show was just made for him or the kids he probably has. I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of the original show. I thought it was pretty mediocre and I wasn't hugely excited about it. But this show just INFURIATES me. I'm a kid, and I like some pretty stupid and goofy thinks, but TTG is just an insult to every child's mind including my own. Believe it or not, most other children I have met are much more intelligent and can find humor in much more sophisticated things than the toilet and random humor TTG has to offer. I actually did find the character of each character.And by that I mean the flandernized traits of the original characters. Robin:Obsessed with power,looking tough,and Starfire Starfire:Puts "the" in every sentence Cyborg:Obnoxious,loud,and silly Beast Boy:Obnoxiously annoying,unfunny,and stupid. Raven:The one who is almost always annoyed by her friends,but still ends up being just as annoying or one sided as them. 7 years later and I'm still waiting for season 6. To be honest, I really liked the show as a kid but I completely forgot about it until a few days ago where I rewatched some of slades "best scenes" since I've always been a sucker for villains in shows, especially if they're menacing and are not god-like in power. So I got into the entire story again, rewatched the ending of "things change" and following that a number of analysis videos. I also found out about Teen Titans Go who basically mocks the original, its auience / fans and has no real substance to it when it comes to plot, basically just devalidating and completely forgetting about the original story. I can't for the love of god figure out why the orignial doesn't get closure after the cliffhanger. It can't be because it wouldn't be watched seeing as how much of the fanbase still keeps bringing up discussions about it every single year up until now. The show is technically speaking 15-18 years old and people still obsess over it. It also can't be because of money, seeing as how TTGo is their biggest and soon longest running shows ever. I'm just so disappointed how a great story with honestly some good life lessons got so absolutely shafted. I know "things change" can be seen as the best episode teaching you one of lifes most essential points which is indeed that things change. But getting no introspective into beast boys opinions on this when he runs to help his team, the fact we got no inner monologue of terra deciding on her new future or any of the other titans opinion on this just feels like something essential is missing. Normally when a cartoon teaches a lesson, it does so through its characters, by giving us their point of view, we get an option to see the world through their eyes and why it's okay to move on. No such thing here. Just a massive cliffhanger ending in what feels like a void similar to the white void beast boy runs into in the final scene.

Teen Titans Go is not only the worst series on CN but from my perspective it's like an abriged series gone wrong. What I mean is that when you compare to an online parody series such as YGOTAS and DBZA, both are satires of another shows, but the big difference that in alot of ways makes them superior to Teen titans Go, is that even though the characters are more comical than their original counterparts, the core personalities they had from the source material remain intact, if not then they would have their unique spin on them without coming off as blatantly offensive. Also the team behind those projects have a clear passion for there respective franchise and have a knowledge of it inside and out. Teen Titans Go other hand doesn't give characters a definitive personality and the humor fails not because of it being just dumb, but because it's very mean-spirited towards its audience.

Everything from TTG points to it being made for one thing: money. Everybody, everybody wanted the original Teen Titans to come back, so the creators of TTG thought "Oh, people will really want this pile of crap if I put Teen Titans pictures on it". There is no thought put into anything. The characters pretty much just exaggerate one trait from the original, and that's all. Yes, making a show is a job, but to make a GOOD show, you need to care for it. Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Star Vs., and etc. creators all wanted to make a show, not money.

The way that Starfire talks is rediculous. There is more to make a person who doesn't speak English correctly's dialog than just adding "the" randomly in the middle of every sentence. Look at how Rebecca Sugar has Peridot speak. She doesn't know many Earth expressions, but she gets pretty close. In "Catch and Release" she said "What's your shirt" and flicked Steven instead of "What's on your shirt" which is what Steven had said earlier and this was hilarious. Anyone who spoke a language that wasn't English for the beginning of their life certainly doesn't say "the" in the middle of their sentence constantly.

One thing I hate about this show's comedy is that it's mostly a bunch of punchlines without real build up, and the jokes they do build up aren't humorous because you can see them coming a mile away. One of the crux's of comedy is to surprise the audience, subvert their expectation of the outcome for a scenario. It's like horror that consists entirely of jump scares and gore with no atmosphere. You need to build anticipation by making the audience question what's going to happen. They're expecting a scare, much like they expect a joke in comedy, but they don't know when it's going to be or how. For a more direct comparison, it's like repeatedly lighting fuses without an actual bomb to set off

I know a lot of people say we hate this because "it ruined our childhoods" or "the original ended, get over it", or it's not like the original. 1. This show did not ruin my childhood. Because first off, Teen Titans wasn't the only show from my childhood. My childhood had LOTS of shows to enjoy, and Teen Titans is still as good as it was before. Plus, it has to give us a clever and witty look on how irrelevant something from our past is. But this show's mental capacity is smaller than a hamster's, so it doesn't work, kinda like this entire show. 2. The original show ended in 2006!! Do these people REALLY think we couldn't have gotten over it after almost a DECADE?!! 3. I have no problem with it being different. The Looney Tunes Show was different and took a different take on classic characters. But unlike TTG, it was actually smart and didn't rely on jokes written by an unborn fetus. This show is terrible. Honestly, I think my breaking point with the series was with two episodes in particular: Hot Garbage and Smile Bones, and I don't think it helped at all that those two episodes were back-to-back in terms of initial air time. With the former, it was just complete gross-out to the point where I really felt noxious by the time that episode ended, and keep in mind I don't usually feel that way after watching TV shows (unless they do something really sick that normal viewers can't get by whatsoever, but that's besides the point). The Smile Bones (I honestly don't know who comes up with this show's titles), however, I thought *that* was not only more harmful in terms of damaging characters reputations, but was also even worst in terms of plot lines and how they handled the situation they were going for than Let's Get Serious tried to do. I did kind of feel like with Let's Get Serious, they might have had something in there that if they knew how to execute it properly, it might have worked in its favor (similarly to Friendship, but that's a topic for another day). Unfortunately, with Smile Bones, they dealt with its topic in the worst way imaginable by not only having Beast Boy and Cyborg nearly starve the other Teen Titans to death (I'm not being exaggerative on that, they really had one scene where Beast Boy and Cyborg eat an entire pizza in front of the anorexic-looking Teen Titans just because they wanted to prove a point to them) and then show us nearly extreme close-ups on each of their fattened stomachs later on, but they somehow had both Cyborg's and Beast Boy's stomachs gain actual sentience and then transform into Godzilla/King Kong sized behemoths minutes later. I think those two episodes showed there was no hope for this show at all, and I pretty much said "fuck them" because of it.

Also in one episode of Teen titans go! (Where they ruined two more characters Mos and Minus) Well, anyway there's a part in the episode where Cyborg is watching a video and to the top right of the screen (much like the layout of youtube) there is a video reccomendation to a video called "TEEN TITANS NO" made by Childhood ruined and the thumbnail was a picture of a baby crying... This is openly assulting us orignal Teen Titans fans. This also shows that they find us orignal fans as JOKES! (P.s) the creators of this show admitted they never watched the orginal Teen Titans so that explains why the show is always contridicting itself.

the saddest thing for me about this show is that at least a month before I came up with an idea for a show based off the xmen comics but a comedy, and after seeing this show I don't know if I even want to anymore. and I had a really funny idea for an episode too where wolverine wants to catch the season finale of his favorite show but deadpools got dibs on the tv so wolverine watches deadpools show in hopes of snagging the remote from him, but deadpools watching a five hour my little pony marathon and he wants wolverine to join in on the fun so he makes him sing along and by the end wolverine is so distraught and brainwashed he's snapped and starts singing the theme song while coughing up blood. all the meanwhile deadpools got his mlp hat, t-shirt and toys out.
