What's weird with Lydia is that in the Circus Gothica episode, all the ghosts were mind controlled by Freakshow's family heirloom orb on his scepter. When it was broken all the ghosts were freed, but we didn't see Lydia with them when they were freed. Since she's with Freakshow again in Reality Trip, I think she stays with him of her own free will. Either since the beginning or after the orb was destroyed. Kinda like a Harley Quinn situation with Freakshow as the Joker.

I can forgive most problems with Phantom Planet (even the one about having no follow-up with Valerie after she learns about Vlad which is actually pretty dumb), but the one I can’t is that the ghosts 100% refuse to help Danny keep the meteor from destroying Earth up until the last minute with no transition or build-up into that change of heart whatsoever.

For those who want Danny Phantom to come back, I’d say it’s better to be left alone. We all saw how Butch Hartman handled the Fairly OddParents when it came back in 2008.

I heard that a restaurant near where I live leaked the Endgame climax, and all the employees were in the back watching it. I was like “wow”. Anyway, I saw Endgame and it was absolutely amazing. I want to see it again.

I freaking loved Ultimate Enemy as a kid. That said...it makes absolutely no sense, and in hindsight...I think it's actually worse than Phantom Planet. I re-watched it recently, and I couldn't stop seeing all the problems. The plot hinges on Danny, who never cared about schoolwork before, being so desperate to pass a test that he winds up cheating in the original timeline. This is because the C.A.T. (a stand-in for the S.A.T.) supposedly determines the students' entire future...yeah, not a great message to give to the kids. The plot also hinges on the idea that the Nasty Burger uses secret sauce that will explode if overheated. That...is a health and safety nightmare. The Nasty Burger would be shut down. The people who authorized that would be arrested for endangering human life. But no, Danny is able to use the sauce to literally murder Box Lunch, and endanger the life of countless civilians in the process, including Tucker and Sam. But no, it's cheating, cheating on the test, THAT's what makes Danny evil. Then there's Lancer. Apart from being absurdly unlikable in this movie, he's also the root of several questionable points regarding the premise. Jazz points out that Lancer has no proof Danny cheated (or even much reason to really suspect him) and even though Lancer acknowledges this, he still plans to fail Danny if he doesn't return the answers. He calls The Fentons to the Nasty Burger, without explaining why, and....then what? Does he expect Danny to just confess? Danny would have no reason to come clean, whether he was guilty or innocent. Lancer just doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to accusing him. But Dark-Danny is the most confusing, disappointing aspect of the movie. Why does he leave Danny stranded in the future? Doesn't that doom his existence? Why does Dark-Danny think he can take the place of his past self? My god, even if you know nothing about temporal theory, that seems like a clear paradox? He's only able to go to the past because the rules of how the medallions work changes from scene to scene. Seriously, in the beginning they send people to Clockwork's lair, but halfway through it changes to sending them back to their own time period? Not to mention, "fusing" the medallion inside Danny. How does he do that? Why exactly can't Danny just take it out? Dark-Danny's origin story is the worst part though. It makes no sense. I have no idea what happened, and I've re-watched that scene several times. Is it edgy, creepy, and dark? Sure. But does it flow? Not at all. So...Danny wanted to remove his ghost half? Why? What would that accomplish? And...why did Danny's ghost half suddenly turn hostile toward Vlad? Why did he rip out Vlad's ghost half? Why did he fly INTO Vlad's ghost half...? Did he know what would happen? And WHAT happened, exactly? Their ghost halves merged, but...how? At no point in the series elsewhere does it ever suggest such a thing would be possible. Even if it were possible, why would Danny's ghost half want to do this? And just because Vlad was "evil" that means the fusion of Danny and Vlad's ghost halves would be a sadistic psychopath? Beyond being confusing....it's a disappointment. The entire movie has hinged on the drama of Danny becoming Dark-Danny in the future. Only to reveal, in his origin scene, that Dark-Danny ISN'T Danny's future self. Oh sure, they're connected, but...Danny's true self is DEAD in the future, murdered by the fused entity. Up until that reveal, we thought Dark-Danny was Danny's direct future. Which he isn't. It's more than a let-down, it's a cop-out. And to add insult to injury, the rest of the movie just carries on as if this wasn't true. It continues to treat Dark-Danny as though he were Danny's future self, even after revealing that he technically isn't. Dark-Danny isn't a very smart villain in general. He reveals himself to Jazz for no good reason, but then lets her live, multiple times, when he could just kill her. (Given his plans, she's going to die anyway, so why not?) I could go on. Again, I loved the movie as a kid. Eric Roberts as Dark-Danny gives me chills, to this day. But it seems like the writers had a great idea for a premise, but when it came to making it work in the DP universe, they cut a lot of corners.

Yeah, no offense, but a lot of your points seem to be based very loose logic. Danny caring about school is really inconsistent ranging from him only caring about disappointing his parents to caring about his own performance so that goes up in the air. The lancer thing really could have gone either way so the show treating it as an absolute seems pretty ridiculous. As for all your points regarding dark danny himself don't really line up since you claim it's "pretty clear", yet half of your claims are invole maybe or could have suggesting you aren't even completely sure why some of the what's going which helps prove the original comment about the writers clearly not thinking things through.

I heard you clearly. My point was that your defense for dark danny was mostly just conjecture that ,while decent enough, really on giving the writers the benifit of the doubt of them thinking about the story past the inital concept which episodes before and after this one show that not often to be the case. I've seen these concepts tackled better in cartoons ranged at a similar tackle simlar concepts with better excution.

Just so you guys know, the beginning of the Danny Phantom theme song says "Young" not "Yo". The creator aka The One Who Shale Not Be Named On The Podcast lol, has confirmed that a few times. I will admit that I'm guilty of making that same mistake a few times myself. Good choice, I would've picked that special too. Without love there is no point to life. It is what we all live for and it is what we were all made for, but the devil tries to ruin everything with fear, stress, worry, etc. Try to get to know God. He is truly worth worshipping.
