Daniel Craig after was abysmal and made me really appreciate Pierce in hindsight. I do enjoy Moore, Connery and Dalton tho too they each added a different flavour and they were all beloved and the Greats but Pierce was the Bond in my childhood he's the best by default unfortunately hahaha

He first ceased GOLDENEYE from putting London in the stone age, stopped World War 3 against Elliot Carver because TOMORROW NEVER DIES, stopped Instanbul from being blown off the map because THE WORLD Is Not Enough, and stopped Icarus from dominating and thru it all, lived to DIE ANOTHER DAY. What is crazy is the fact that Sean Connery reprised his role as bond in the 80’s(Never Say Never Again, aka the most hated Bond movie), and was older than Pierce in his last Bond film quite a bit! I didn’t know that about Cavill though

Experience comes with age and the best stories are usually when they are more mature and wiser from those experiences, the young year one stories have been done to death, the audience knows who they are, so let's get to the meat and bones of the character and new stories no one has seen before.

Brosnan was the perfect Bond. The writers let down both him and us fans. Pierce deserved so much better. I honestly think they should do a "retired" 007 flick and bring him back...as an older Bond who's moved on from government service only to find himself neck deep in an international incident.
