I'd say it's not islam specifically the UK dislikes but more so religion in general based on the history we know of religion overall and the personal experience many have had with it in the west. Islam is highlighted more than others however for a number of factors - for example I don't see Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism, or Christianity trying to establish religion based law in sections of this country, we are a country that separates religion and state. I also don't see the aforementioned religions being the groups intimidating young children and teachers outside of schools, sending death threats etc while it is something that occurs often when islam is involved in the UK - you can claim it's down to more numbers in said religion but in general it doesn't provide a good representation to the religion. Fundamentally when you are part of one of the biggest religions in the world, there does tend to be more elements of extremism seen within your religion as there're more people following it - the bigger concern with islam in the UK is that in many ways it's completely at odds with the laws we hold in the UK and if you're going to follow your religion more seriously than law then you're going to encounter more problems tied to it. You may feel it's unfair based on your religion - however in the UK law comes above all forms of religion not just islam and people don't get to get out of that using their religion as part of the agreement of living in a society is adhering to that societies laws - if you can't do that then don't live in that society just as I wouldn't go to live in an islamic country unless I intended to follow the laws prescribed there.

Palestinians elect a government that aims for the development of prosperity and economy of the Gaza strip. They continue using the greenhouses that the jewish settlers left behind (rather than destroying them) and build up local agriculture, services and a fishing industry. Foreign aid money flows into Gaza and is used to invest into modern schools and universities. There were roadblocks and distrust because of decades of conflict , but the Israelis became convinced that Palestinians don’t want to wipe them off the map - they want peaceful coexistence. If Gazans had elected a civilian and progressive government, rather than Hamas, the future would have been bright for both Gazans and Israelis. Just my 5 cents

The way Wajahat Ali says at the end "Don't lose what you have, a multi cultural society". As if that is a good thing. It was a disaster for native British people like me. In the US there was an Arab woman who graduated medical school and made a tweet that she looks forward to give the "yahood" (Jews) the wrong medicine. She was not allowed to practice medicine. Earliet tweets she had showed she was as antisemitic as anything despite working for and with Jews. Not all Muslim/Arabs are like this.
