Sachs criticises the United States who he says is responsible for exacerbating tensions with Russia, particularly through support for Ukraine and NATO expansion.

Ukraine applied to NATO for membership and was refused twice , Prof Sachs is on the Russian payroll , Russia invaded Chechnya and Georgia and Moldova ,neither of these are ever going to be members of NATO.

Two points. 1. China isn’t a threat to the US?China isn’t looking to dominate? 2. Hitler wouldn’t negotiate, was impossible to negotiate with, went back on his word? China is Communist, Communism is International in nature and seeks to dominate. I can not think of a worse form of government. There isn’t one. As for Hitler he either doesn’t know or he simply doesn’t want to fall victim (by not agreeing with the agreed upon “truth”) to the prevailing narrative established by the Judaic powers and their proxies after the war. It is strange that the guest praise nondemocratic countries whos history and even today is full of abuse and concure, deportation, prisoning, slaving people, murdering etc etc. And if asking condem those action, we hear bla bla bla, and fairytale story about negotiation. Clearly he knows a lot, do not know who pays he's salary, but he talks a lot of "funny business". And about this negotiations, yeah history remembers lot of protocols and contracts between powerful countries, but Russia probably won't know the language of negotiation, straight punch into nose is only language what Russia understands. So other major scale countries may start with negotiation but with ultimatum, every other way lead to lost of terrirtory of Ukraine. But I admit, I also feel that the guest is in high league, but still he speaks a way like rubla sounds...

I agree with Sachs, but I'm puzzled why he plays into the hands of anyone looking for that "say something bad about Putin" soundbite. There are a lot of other ways to deal with this rather than calling Putin smart, sensible and whatever else will be so-called triggering words. Piers seems like a blockhead here, but it's understandable that he would want to lay down a defensive position to be sure he is not seen as sympathetic with Putin.

I get the exact opposite. what I see is how this Sachs character making excuses for the worst criminals in the world. sure, warmongers at some thing that is bad but so are cowards and stupid isolationist types that would abandon allied countries or potential allied nations in red for help. Ukraine is a potential allied country. Ukrainian soldiers already served in war together with Americans during the invasion of Irka and Afghanistan to fight against Jihadi terrorists. and Ukraine was guaranteed protection from the West once Ukraine gave up of it's nuclear arsenal. Sachs apparently has forgotten completely about that. so America and the West giving support to Ukraine isn't controversial at all. some idiots think Ukraine is a money laundering scheme for warmongers. Ukraine is not Irak or Afghanistan. building an allied country in the Islamic world is very different compared to Ukraine because Ukrainians aren't fundamentalists that would kill you in the name of some cult religion. also Irak was always destined to fail because Irak is an artificial project. Irak is basically the Yugoslavia of Middle East in which the "coun" is divided into 3 different factions. the Sunni Arab, Shia Arabs and Kurds. American invasion of Irak and removing Saddam Hussein was a mistake for sure. Saddam was a brutal dictator but Irak was also stable under his rule. we should have instead let Irak and Iran have their war and kill eachother if they really wanted to. killing two birds with own stone. not the problems of Irak and Iran shouldn't have been the problem of the West.

The main reason I watch Piers Morgan is that he also brings independent people to his show for interviews. Although he presses them to get the answers he wants, he rarely succeeds, and more often than not, he gets schooled by them. In this case, Mr Sach displays an elegant repertoire of deep knowledge of the Russia/Ukraine conflict history, which is very clarifying.

You forgot to say that Yanukovich, elected by the Ukraine people, was overthrown with the help of our CIA. Yanukovich wanted to be aligned with Russia and because of our paranoia we refused to let that happen and instead installed the present clown as their head of state and kept pushing for Ukraine to join NATO. When Putin first came to power did you know that he actually asked for Russia to join NATO and the fools turned him down. Now they are surprised when Putin has clearly requested that Ukraine stay neutral, but we keep pushing them to join NATO. What did you expect him to do? It's no different from JFK demanding that the Soviet Union (while still communist) leave Cuba when they set up missiles there. It's very odd how that was OK, but when Russia makes the same request about Ukraine all of a sudden it's "unreasonable".

I think he probably doesn't, and if he did he would dismiss it as the opinions of those who aren't journalists, and therefore aren't as in touch, or in the know, or as clever as he is. I'll add that most historians have actually concluded that the peace talks of Chamberlain were necessary for Britain to build up its forces in that time. Also lets not forget that Chamberlains initial attack was a total failure. Soldiers had to be rescued by British civilian ships and Hitler let them go as he thought that would be the end of it. In the light thereof Churchill's approach was an absolute disaster. Lets face it, if Russia did not become involved in the war Churchill would have remained on the history books as a fool who was totally defeated and had to fetch his stranded troops with civilian ships.

19:42 "Are there any bad guys in the world?" should be the title of this video, that's exactly the mentality of the US, you search for nails if you are a hammer, you search for "bad guys" if you are the one holding guns. it bothers me the most when I saw a famous journalist(?) like Piers Morgan still struggling in the "splitting" or "binary" psychology, It’s a common defense mechanism where a person fails to integrate the perceived positive and negative qualities of something into a cohesive, realistic whole.
