If you are considering nostalgia games, I really loved Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. My childhood was also steeped in Sierra games and the Jedi Knight series, if you haven’t played/considered some of those already These aren’t so obscure or old, I don’t think, but if you haven’t played through Bastion or Valiant Hearts, I was really fond of both in high school. Same for The Silent Age. None are really old but I think they’re all worth bringing back and pretty playable within a single video

One time i told my psychologist that Eeyore was my favorite Winnie the Pooh character, and she just sighed and went "that makes sense" 😭😭

lol I feel that. He was also my favorite character. He was just relatable 😂

It honestly makes sense that a game with Piglet being the main playable character would be a bit spooky or unnerving because yeah, you're playing from Piglet's perspective. This game seems to be pretty good tbh, makes me wish I had come across it when it first came out as I would have loved playing it.

I’m just glad this is finally getting attention. I was trying to tell people about this game, its cuteness and horror elements for YEARS (since i was 3. I’m about to turn 24. Just for reference) and beating it took me years. I am so glad to say that my first horror game was this

Had to look it up because the narrator really does sound familiar. Laurie Main narrated this game and so much additional Winnie the Pooh related content over the years. You are correct, Jim Cummings voices Pooh and Tigger. He's really the Mel Blanc of this era.
@nezuminora95282 күн бұрын
Jim also tidied up Be Prepared on the Lion King soundtrack when the vocalist for Scar was unable to do it. He's a legend

Oh my gosh I was obsessed with/terrified by this game as a kid. The design was so interesting and honestly the character dynamics felt very wholesome. I’m so glad you played this!
@laurelsamuelson37643 күн бұрын
Edit: very relieved you like all the characters in the books. Rabbit and Owl are both hilarious in the stories and it’s a bit frustrating that they didn’t do the same in the cartoons

Here in the US, back in the mid 80's, there was a t.v. show called Welcome to Pooh Corner. All the characters were people in mascot-like costumes. The narrator in this game sounds just like the host of that show. Loved Dumbo Circus too which always aired next.

Yes! Loved that show as a kid!

To reply to your question about "what is kids TV like these days?"; Last week, I was babysitting for a 5yr old boy and his 3 year old little sister. They watched all their favorite shows on Netflix. Honestly, I'm jealous of their ability to get the shows they want on-demand! As a kid I remember so many times when I was watching TV shows I didn't really like all that much just cuz I had nothing better to do.

Really great to see this game finally getting attention. I played it when I was young and found it quite scary in parts. Seeing it again now takes me back. This isn't the first time a Winnie the Pooh game has gone viral online either, it's happened before with Pooh's Homerun Derby.

When I was a kid, my aunt had a Gameboy advance (still does, but it's mine now). We would play this game often, though it was much different as it was 2D with more soundtracks. I remember Eyeore'a dream to be what haunted me the most when I went to sleep... every time I pick it up to replay, that eerie music gets trapped in my head and wakes me up at 3 AM.

I never played the Winnie the Pooh game. My top PS1-2 games are: Pepsiman Goin' Quackers Devil May Cry Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge Bloody roar 2 Tekken Spyro Resident Evil Crash bandicoot Crazy Taxi Mortal combat Twisted metal Rayman Cel damage

I still love Winnie the Poor and all his friends and growing up I had all the movies on vhs too! Favorite character has always been a tie between Rabbit and Tigger.
@saladslug74322 күн бұрын
I remember liking the style of animation of the movie when I was a kid, but it was also kind of scary. Although many children movies were scary to me. Dumbo, Pinochio, Lion King, Robin Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Lady and the Tramp, The Fox and the Hound there's probably more but those are the ones I can think of right now.
@vex65172 күн бұрын
OH MY GOD you’ve just triggered a childhood memory for me, I completely forgot that I played this as a kid, but we didn’t have SD cards in our PS2 so I never got further than like an hour in bc we couldn’t save it, so every time you stopped playing the next time you turned it on you had to start at the beginning 😔, I had the same problem with Spyro, I have vivid memories of the first hours of both those games.
@nottechytutorialsКүн бұрын
That's sad. Our PS2 always had two memory cards in it at all times. It was fun to see all those little animated game icons in there (which apparently people didn't save to share on the internet?!).

I had this on gamecube and it terrified me as a kid. It still gives anxiety as an adult as there is surprisingly little room for error. It is wild

This is so cute. I used to have VHS tapes of the Winnie the Pooh TV series, and this is giving me so much nostalgia. 18:14 Okay, I'm fairly certain that we used to have this game. I'm going to have to corroborate it with my sister, but I kinda remember that. Edit: She confirmed that we did, in fact, have this game.

Piglet was always my fav little guy when I was younger. Now that I'm old and grumpy, it's Eeyore all the way. Oh and that noise it makes when he kicks stuff reminds me of the Yarny Yoshi game lol The tongue sounds he makes.

This was such a good time. I love old games.The mechanics were so bad its funny to see you struggle imagine how hard a 5yr old would struggle with the inputs like howd they think a kid could press all the buttons and know the layout of a controller. Lmao

The Muppet's Christmas Carol is my traditional xmas season movie. I don't really --my brain just glitched because I started typing before hearing "such a good little piglette" again, and I wasn't prepared for it. I can't remember the point of my comment anymore...I still haven't watched Elf but maybe I'll go do that now to clean my brain out.

Fabulous 1st time 100% ;D I had a lot of fun watching this over the course of 3 evenings - thanks for discovering and playing it, although I can see it is probably more tedious to play than to watch! Personally I always much preferred the book to the Disneyified versions. But things like the narrator the hilarious animations and faces really made this I feel.
