The Batgirl one honestly makes me so sad. Not only because of the dark and disturbing implications of it being deleted, but also they could've easily rebranded it as a DC Elseworlds labeled film, and reworked to be set in the Burton/Schumacherverse after Batman Forever (ignoring Batman and Robin) and reshot JK Simmons scenes. Oh well, here's hoping Leslie Grace returns as Batgirl in James Gunns DCU. Also, thank Dwayne Johnsons Black Adam centric plans for the DCEU never happened.

Of the characters introduced in the comics, the Man of Steel prequel comic had Supergirl, as just Kara Zor-El, introduced in it. Although unlike the Supergirl we saw in the Flash, she isn't Superman's cousin, as the story she's in takes place thousands of years in the past. I think said comic had the Kryptonian ship on Earth and the open pod, but I'm not sure if it's what spawned the Supergirl theory. Also, weird coincidence how there have been 2 entries to cap off DC icebergs, involving the SA of Wonder Woman and Amazonians. Just shows how some people in both DC and WB, shouldn't be trusted with these characters.

It’s quite strange that I couldn’t care less about Black Adam when that Movie was in theatres, but am now super fascinated by it. It’s an interesting chapter of Movie Drama and an almost-Shakespearean lesson against Ego. Although I am actually kinda curious where the “Black Adam-Centred DCEU” was going to go, i think it’s best it failed, as the Rock needed an ego check and see you can’t just screw over other films like Shazam 2 for his own selfish purposes. And in spite of his constant media-push for the Black Adam Movie and character in general, when the movie came out in theatres, I had NO IDEA who Black Adam was, I didn’t even know it was a DCEU Film! I thought it was a completely separate and random superhero film. With that said, the Rocks overconfidence was very funny and memeable. “Rest in Peace the Queen, a great woman who lead the country longer than anyone before. There was also an audio drama that was released with The Flash, titled The Flash: Escape the Midnight Circus, which apparently takes place after the movie, in the new timeline. Assuming Aquaman 2 takes place before the timeline reset in The Flash, it technically makes the audio drama the last DCEU story chronologically.

Well, I learned some things after watching this video 1). This video is good, I did like your sense of humour 2). Warner didn't have any kind of path with the universe, unlike Marvel who got a established path of what they wanted to show to people, Warner didn't have this and they started announcing projects without the certitude that theses projects could've been done, 3), warner is such a bad company, they fear success, because they got amazing projects but they rejected them because they were afraid of losing money instead of watching what people wanted. That's it, this universe could've something good, something different than Marvel, but the constant changes and the fact that they took control instead of letting the directors to share their projects kill this universe. You mentioned how there was only one novel (that aren't novelizations) part of the MCU which is incorrect as there's 3 (I believe 3) Captain Marvel novels telling Carol's experience before the movie. They're rather unknown so it's no problem they went under the radar but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Snyder's vision for the DCEU was god awful, and it sounds like what we got was not the worse of it. my goodness. we dodged a bullet by cancelling the DCEU.

And in spite of ‘all that’ lots of people still loved it. Not only that, but the scripts for his original versions of JL 2 and 3 are noticeably outdated. In ZS JL there’s a hinted at romance between Batman and Wonder Woman which is a comic book classic pairing next to WW and Superman. So the “Lois Lane X Bruce Wayne” thing was likely dropped. Regardless i firmly believe if the original version of Justice League released, it would have been received much better than BvS.

Snyder fan are not "lots" of people the majority of people breathed a sigh of relief Snyder was not disrespecting the IP they grew up with anymore. good riddance to piss-poor content. WW and Batman hinting at a romance is nothing when Batman is literally killing people. You're not a Batman fan if you think that was okay. Snyder's work is just spectacle and no substance. and he has continued his garbage content creation with Star wars ripoff films and its not been doing great.

@@eingoluq Right, so first you do False Populism (look it up) just because he made interpretations of characters you didn’t like, doesn’t make it intentional disrespect. These are fictional characters we are talking about. There are literally alternate-universe versions of Batman (and his Dad) who kill ppl. Plus, nearly everyone does this in the MCU so i don’t get the problem. However, i think the version of Batfleck fits better as a Red Hood character! There are plenty of non-Snyder people who aren’t excited for the DCU, it’s likely going to be just the MCU, but with DC characters. And frankly I’m not excited to hear Batman say “well that happened” and Flash make constant pop culture references. Public opinion on the MCU is declining fast, the DCU couldn’t be made at the worst time.

@@eingoluq I’ve seen people who have never liked something from Snyder before say they liked his version of Justice League…so yes it was a big success. Appealing to your inherent audience is easy but appealing to much more than that is hard. I guess I’m not “everybody” am I not a body? Cuz I liked them. So yes, False Populism. You’re just being deeply resentful and unfair because Snyder “besmirched” the “honor” of fictional characters. 🤷‍♀️

Here’s some controversial opinions for everyone regarding the DCEU: - I think the BvS Knightmare Scene was badass and Batman using a gun in that context is understandable. Like compare the fight choreography of that scene to the Last Jedi Throne Room fight. Night and Day. -I honestly think that if the Snyder cut released as planned in theatres, it would have gotten mostly positive reviews and renewed faith in the current DCEU. Like seeing that Speed force scene would have blown audiences away. -I found that joke in Barbie about the ZSJL being something only men care about bizzare, since I’m trans female and i really liked it…and there’s significantly more screentime for women in the ZSJL, and no weird groped scenes the theatrical version had. So what gives? I feel like the director hadn’t actually seen it. -Lastly, i think Zack Snyders 2 other planned Justice League Movies can still happen in the future, but after James Gunns DCU is established, more spin-offs could be made, and Zack Snyder and James Gunn are friends, so it’s always possible!
