I know it’s completely separate but think of it like in flash season two. I had an experience with Motion Capture and voice acting and have to say even though gaming industry is a colossus these days, voice over actors and mo cap performers are not fully considered 'equal' talent as traditional actors. What's really interesting right now is that the mainstream, 'regular' actors demand royalties for their digital likeness when it's used on new projects they are not technically involved with. Something MoCap actors could relate to... I guess the movie studios figured that their 'creative accounting' and sometimes cruel contracts/ NDA's would go unnoticed into this new era of streaming. They were wrong, preparation is everything and they were completely ill prepared for this new platform of entertainment. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in the new Resident Evil games :)

Referring to one of the entries, nebula mentioned the black order in guardians 1. When she was chasing gamora out of Knowhere. Something like “Out of all our siblings, I hated you the least” Also forgot to comment on your post about hot takes. But mine is that one of the biggest reasons why phase 4 and 5 have been rocky. Is the change in long term contracts and mega deals with actors. After endgame, lawyers started to negotiate for short term deals since the actor wouldn’t have to form long term commitments, Kevin feige also shared this belief. Which was a reason many actors didn’t want to be in the mcu early on. Many don’t want to play a character for 10+ years. That’s why there’s been a jump in new characters that we won’t spent too much time with compared to past characters. I have two friends that I go with whenever a marvel movies comes out. They always ask when Shang chi is coming back cause they liked the character. And from I read they might have to wait until the avengers movie x-x in 2026 but with the strikes and delays maybe 2027 if lucky. So yeah and with the rocky start with COVID I think the short deals have changed how the mcu moves forward and instead of adjusting it. They just went business as usual. Also I say hot take cause I don’t heard about it much. Yet again I stay away from any mcu discourse online cause the toxicity from both sides is too much of a hassle to handle. Unpopular Opinion: But im actually still interested in seeing a Champions/Young Avengers project, along with Spiderman 4, Deadpool 3, and Second Seasons of Loki and What If...?. Now before anyone says "Why? Chavez and Adult Cassie suck, and most of the new characters are just the worst!". Two words: Ashoka Tano. When, Ashoka Tano was first introduced in the Clone Wars Movie, nobody liked her, almost everyone thought she sucked and was the worst character in SW (or one of the worst), but through good if not great writing, her character was redeemed, to the point she became one of, if not the most popular character in the fandom, and people are now extremely hyped for her show. So there's no reason the same cant be done with character like Riri, Eli, Cassie, Chavez, and Billy and Tommy.

Been insanely busy lately so I've only watched this now, I wanted to find time to watch it all at once. It won't suit every video obviously but my favourite part was the alternative casting choices.
