Bees are such amazing little creatures, sometimes they sleep/rest in the flowers and if they have a buddy bee with them they will rest with their bodies and legs cuddled together.

oh my, the pigs getting out reminded me of the Sunday when Mount Saint Helen's erupted and our cows were startled and got out of the field. We couldn't figure out how, until we later watched our young bull try it agin as he used his tongue to draw back the latch of the gate!!! They bolted out the drive and down the road. I grabbed a cane from the garden and ran after them. My hubby was faster and got them turned around and then they were chasing me!! This was such a great video today and so enjoyable and I wanted you to know my story. There is nothing like the feeling of watching ...money of the hoof/trotters getting away from you-yikes! Alls Well That Ends Well! Lesson well learned.

If your planning on using pine boards for the ceiling, you can stain them with a transparent stain, this way the grain will show through the stain. It comes in different colors. Make sure to stain both sides. Also, keep in mind shellac is a sealer only( not water resistant) and needs a finish over it, like satin polyurethane, which will help to keep dust from sticking to the boards and make it water resistant or moisture resistant.

When my neighbor goes away for a while, she asks me to take care of her goats and ducks. The ducks will jump in the water dish after I fill it and splash around, they also like to find a wet muddy spot and dip their beaks in it. She has a plastic pool in there, but it's seen better days, plus it would take many trips from the water source to the pool to fill it.

That was hilarious, the pigs breaking loose. The door was hard to shut because they are as long or longer as their pig house and their butts were cushioning the door ha ha I loved the way you took shots of the chickens while they were being moved, always wondered what the chickens thought of moving house. They were certainly trying hard to stay on their perch. When they got out it was funny seeing the first hen come out and blinking her eyes and clucking as if to say, 'whats this', when they got onto the grass. Just loved this video today made my day as I had just come back from the dentist. Your barn is looking beautiful, Gina is certainly a great help, she sure can use those tools. How is Gina enjoying staying home now? I am glad that you two can be together on the homestead now. Have a great day,.

Chickens swaying away. Bit like they do if they get to perch in a tree during a very windy day. Welcome to pigs escaping. We had a pig that we used to show, she'd do fine until about day three of a show, then get bored, when it came to loading her back in the trailer, she always took it at a gallop and jumped the ramp. Never had any problems getting her inside the trailer, she loved it.
