Nice fishing in Ireland the pike population is very low in our canals and some rivers but there is a lot in our lakes and our lakes are about 2 hours away and it’s really difficult to get out fishing. Nice video though.
@BlackCountryPiker4 жыл бұрын
Cheers matey, I’ve always known Ireland as a Mecca for pike but I’ve read there’s been a pike cull a few times. Is that right?
@skiingislife64964 жыл бұрын
Black Country Piker sadly yes it hurts to say that but good news my local river just down the road( you need waders to fish it) I used to only fish for trout but one time I went down for pike and first cast I caught a 10 lb pike which is brilliant but there’s not much area to fish

Worth watching it to the very end to see you getting tormented by passing cars 😂. Glad I’m not the only one that happens to. Could be doing an outro on the moon and one would drive by. Right I’m off fishing. Good stuff and keep them coming. My local Avon is the smelly bristol one so wish me luck!

You’ll find in Fladbury that the big fish have scars from surviving attacks from otters. Especially the barbel
@BlackCountryPiker Жыл бұрын
Have you seen a lot of this? I know otters are there but I’ve never seen one
@LIAFL Жыл бұрын
@@BlackCountryPiker 6 years ago I went barbel fishing there with my dad and we pulled out 10 between us and smashing our PB’s. Ever since then we don’t get much and the bigger ones seem like the have bite/ claw marks. I’ve seen the otters there and the local tackle shop told me they were re- introduced but they are ruining the fishing.

@@BlackCountryPiker is there any specific kit that I need? I already have spinning rods and reels!
@BlackCountryPiker4 жыл бұрын
The most important is good braid and wire trace. What rod and reel are you fishing with? Also what lures are you chucking
@ndpd10664 жыл бұрын
I have several spinning rods from 7ft lrf to 9 and 10ft up to 60gr. With Shimano baitrunner and Abu Garcia both loaded with 20lb braid. I dont think the lures I have will suffice mainly flying c mepps and different types of sea fishing lures.

Hi mate, unfortunately it’s a season ticket and not a day ticket. That said it’s only £40 for 12 months and has miles of water to fish it’s the BAA app.baa.uk.com/memberships/
