This would be cool as hell for vs gamemodes. One player is olimar, and the other can controll one enemy at a time. The enemy player could have a cooldown on each enemy type which depends on their strenth, or could only use better enemys depending on how much pikmin they defeat

Is there some way to disable Player 2 from being able to whistle the Pikmin? If combined with the Multiplayer 2.0 mod, this could make for a very fun Challenge Mode-based PvP mode where Player 2 goes around as a ghost player with the goal of causing Pikmin extinction for Player 1.

For some reason, when i open the rom for the hack in Dolphin, its just a black screen. No nintendo logo or stuff, just a pitch black screen. Opening the normal Pikmin 2 rom seems to be normal, though.

So would this be the result of Olimar, Louie, and the President getting their whistles infused with Cappy's Powers? (Cappy is a character from Super Mario Odyssey, he is a hat that lets you possess certain enemies by throwing him at your enemies.) Maybe it could be a new power they gain from a new treasure they discover to add to their explorers kit.

I tried downloading this on Nintendont and Dolphin and it causes some sort of error. I opened other games just fine so it doesn’t seem to be my Dolphin emulator. Has anyone else had this problem?

You need to use a nkit iso not a ciso since the patch.bat file turns the nkit iso to iso which works

Dolphin says it is a invalid ciso? But when I play the Unmodded version of pikmin 2 it doesn’t say that Edit:okay it stopped saying that but now it’s saying “failed to init core” Edit2:it only works with nkit iso so don’t use ciso
