I agree with better rewards! I really wish we had some homes to decorate or something similar. Something to give me just a little more incentive to walk a little more. My main reason for playing besides spending time with daughter. On the plus side, it HAS actually made me want to walk. Purpose surved.

I heard that if you send more pikmin on expeditions, it lessens the hearts they gain. So you can send double the pikmin for half the hearts per pikmin

So the more Pikmin you send on an expedition, the fewer hearts they gain? If that's true, then I'll have to be careful.

In the app it tells you that it increases the heart thing and ge even said it at 6:00

after 4 red hearts, you can keep going to 4 yellow hearts. then they stop growing there. Pikmins with 4 yellow hearts are most powerful in mushroom battles.

Hi! Thanks for this. I want to share a tip too: From the moment I find a new seedling I set them as a favorite if they have a kind of decoration I haven't found yet. This way my "favorites" work basically as "actual Pikmin I need to harvest XP all the time". Once I get the decor, I take them out of the Favorites list and leave them only for mushroom challenges. Super practical. Question: there's a new update that allows friendship to grow 8 hearts. What happens after that?? 😮 I've only maxed 5 hearts so far.

Sorry if I missed it, but there's still one thing I don't understand and that's how to get the Pikmin to grow anything other than a daisy (or whatever the standard flower is) on their head. Can only Pikmin found at fully bloomed (Pokéstop-like) flowers grow different flowers? I've gotten nectar for different types of flowers several times but they all just blend together into one color nectar, I cannot choose what kind of flower I want to give them? I'm level 30 and I still haven't figured this out and I don't know anyone else who plays, who I could ask.

Hi there. Do you know why some Pikmin are bigger than others? Like I have some same coloured and same decoration pikmin and maxed 4 hearts but some pikmin are bigger in size than others. Any idea why?

I don't like battling mushrooms unless I either see other people already working on it or if I can take it in just a few hours, because I don't like keeping my Pikmin out there for 4 to 6 days especially in an area where help rarely comes. I also hate how you can't just send more pikmin into an already existing battle without quitting and losing a turn.

Please set up a Trainer Nickname in the game app and try again", do you happen to know how to do this? (I changed all the names on the game app, so not sure what that message is referring to). Ok, so I was recently in Barcelona and grew a Pikmin. Now it's on a 140 day trek to get its decor. Any way to speed this up? Should I just not play when traveling?

I thought I read in the rules that you do get your pikmin back in 3 days( if the person you sent the postcard doesn't open it.) You will get it back ... I'll find it in the rules and screenshot it , im 99% sure its not lost forever ;)

My Pikmin didn't come back because my friend didn't accept the postcard. Pikmin will be returned to you after 3 days if your friend does not collect the postcard. (Comments section won't accept my screenshot, so i copied and paste from the Q&A page on Pikmin Blooms game site ;)

Question- Should your squad NOT contain 4-heart-maxed-out Pikmin with decor, because feeding them nectar doesn't do anything?

It depends what you want. If you want to go for a better star ranking for more rewards then use your 4 heart maxed out pikmin with decor. But if you want to level up your 1-3 heart pikmin for a maxed out squad in the future, then use them instead for now.

How can u increase my power level of pikmin, because it seems like my power is not as strong as my friends when we attacking mushrooms haha

First make sure you are using pikmin the same color as the mushroom to get a boost. Second feed your pikmin nectar to get 4 hearts max and unlock the decoration. Third make sure they have flowers on their heads instead of leaves. Lastly, the higher level you are, the more pikmin you can use in battle.
