Good evening, I just tried to do this workout & wanted to know if the exercises could be done single leg. Doing both legs at one time hurts my back.

Yes absolutely! You can also try imprinting your low back.. so bringing it closer to the floor and keeping a little ab contraction.. or keeping your legs higher up when you straighten the legs out. But yes! Can definitely do single leg

had a query regarding the straps - Ive got the same bar but the straps does'nt seem to slide through on the bar but remain at the ends only- any way to do it?

No u can keep them lower and roll it for more resistance
