I am over weight and would love to be thin. It’s my dream. But when I searched for a movement that I loved I couldn’t find anything except Pilates. And then all I wanted was the power and beauty I felt. It wasn’t easy and I still struggle but I loved doing it. I am still overweight but I feel stronger than ever. Thank you

After gaining pregnancy weight I lost 50 pounds doing pilates. The key to any exercise is to stay consistent and keep going. Don't give up! ✨✨

@@jerahs2838 almost every morning for 30 minutes. On weekends sometimes 50 minutes.

i love doing pilates cause even a 30 minute class feels like 10 minutes to me which motivates me to actually work out, it’s hard for me to stick to working out everyday because of my mental health and pilates really helps with that :)

Years ago I was seeing a nutritionist. I went to my weigh in. My weight was the same. She was giving me a hard time saying I wasn't following her eating plan. So she decided to take my measurements. She had to take them twice because she couldn't believe the inches I lost. I was doing pilates 4 times a week.

Similar thing happened to me! After a month of working out and eating well, I still weighed the same, but when I took measurements, I actually lost a lot of inches!

Remember muscle weighs more than fat. Good on both of you! I'm about to attempt at Pilates as much as I can.

I just subscribed ! I just ordered the Elina reformer bundle and I am soooo excited to start Pilates everyday ! I will be utilizing you tube videos to guide me thru my journey! I also have ordered a radiant health sauna to accompany my Pilates workout my journey to health is worth every penny spent ! I’m 54 on no meds and I’m hoping to stay medication free! Hi Jessica, I started your classes last November, Ive lost weight doing 2/ 3 classes every day. I used to go to a gym but lockdown happened and the gyms closed. I dont think I'll go back now😊 Many thanks from Ireland💚

You would do 2 to 3 classes a DAY or week. I really want to lose weight but I can’t do it that much

This is super interesting. I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis and have been struggling to exercise/lose weight because of pain and hormonal imbalances. This video came just at the right time!

I fully agree! This is a really good recommendation. I find it more useful to do 20-30 mins of exercise daily.

Thanks for this video! I have been taking HIIT classes and plantar faciitis has caused so much pain in my feet that I have to take a break. I’m only part way through my weight loss and strength goal. I’m excited to start this new journey.

Pilates can help you with your plantar faciitis. My plantar faciitis has not returned since I have been taking Pilates 3 times a week at the Y.

Really helpful. Esp liked what you said about the goals/motivations. At 60+ I get a few aches and pains in my joints so shifting my focus to improving my mobility and stamina so that I can continue to enjoy my walks and exploring and living a fulfilled, happy and productive life... oh yes, and loose a few of those extra pounds too! 😅

take cucurmin first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and don't drink cold drinks or sour, tangy foods for joints

Thank you, this was great info. I have to lose weight for my health and longevity and hopefully to lower my blood pressure. I love walking and try to do it every day but I need to find something for indoors on the days I can’t walk outside.

Eversince that I find clips of kpop idols doing pilates (especially when I saw bp jennie doing it while she was interviewed) I suddenly got interested to do it. At first, I was impressed on how pilates has some resemblance to yoga which was some poses that I usually do before. Now, that I'm starting to move and watched your videos and doing pilates. It really helped me to toned some muscles. Especially my thighs since I'm overweight. And as I go on with the process, even though I sometimes skip days to do pilates. I can see the difference in my lower body which was my inner thighs, calves and spine/ back. Aside from that, I also love your videos. Because you give us modification poses and affirmations to motivate us and continue our workout. Hence, I'll continue to watch and move along with you through my journey! Although I don't know If I'm gonna lose weight. I just want to do fat loss first. Since I did cardo exercises a long time ago and I refused to move forward with skipping rope. Anyways, thank you for giving us hope! Lovelots!!

:) im still a kid but im like 10+ lbs overweight which really bothers me not just because i can't wear the clothes i wanna wear but it just leaves me unhealthy and gross. i think pilates helped me a lot during quarantine and this year because i can do a lot of things i wasn't able to do even when i was at a normal weight. :) thank you for this video and thank you for making the energy in this video so approachable. I still have a long way to go because if I stop, I know I'll just get worse.

I was determined to dislike you but you blew me away literally in the first minute and fifteen seconds....you know why.... because you used the s word, you said sorry.
