Props: Reformer Box, Jumpboard
Focus: Full Body workout with sliding and gliding movement patterns
Difficulty Rating: 3 (intermediate)
Duration: 45 Minutes
Set-Up at the start of class:
1Y + 1B Spring on (extra-light and light)
Headrest up or down
Jumpboard up
Long & Short Straps Available
Reformer Box left side of machine on floor
Are you ready to slide and glide through a full body workout with me on the Reformer? We hit a little bit of everything in this flow! We will kick-off revving that cardio engine with a fun jump sequence warming the body up for deeper work. We follow-up with a bunch of core-controlled upper body and lower body movement sequences that will start to become challenging as we move through layers that gradually increase in difficulty. Be ready to tackle the tough challenges when they come your way because your body will be ready for them! and they don’t last forever! We got this tough stuff! We wrap everything up with some targeted abdominal workout.

About Jess P Fit

Jessica continued her education to receive her Stages Cycle/Spin Certification Tribe Small Group Training Certification, and TRX Certification. Her journey through fitness has moved quickly and her drive to live a healthy life is her constant motivation! She believes a well-rounded fitness regime incorporates multiple disciplines.

Hi Ivana! Thank you for the comment and the question! The final movement sequence where we have our feet in the straps is focused on abdominal strength and conditioning. Let me know if you have any further questions or need a deeper explanation.

Great workout, I have plantar fasciitis and i could feel a deep stretch under foot whilst doing those one footed calf raises on the box. I am hoping after todays workout I have awoken the beast, to move out. Any more suggestions or workouts would be appreciated, my routine from the physio just is not cutting it?

Hi there! Oh wow, I'm so glad that movement was able to provide a good stretch. Plantar fasciitis can be so uncomfortable and painful! Are you working on the Reformer with your physical therapist? I am wondering if you've had some extensive footwork on the Reformer which could be helpful.
