The 30/30 format really works for me. I'm having significant lower back pain and I was able to do this workout without any exacerbation. I initially thought, oh jumping for 30 minutes, no problem. Well, I was wrong - got my cardio in for sure. Thanks for making each and every class new and challenging for us. Your moves simply flow from one to another and that helps us keep our rhythm. Love every one of your classes.

Oh love this!! I am currently rehabbing a sprained ankle and I’m so limited in range of motion. The jump board exercises are so good for ankle strengthening and I get to work glutes, and weak thigh muscles too 💪

I’ve actually been thinking about trying to do a comparison, if this machine compared to balance body but don’t have access to a balance body machine at the moment. How should I adjust my reformer (Merithew) for the jump board? Do I leave it as is or move the carriage bar? I have the adjustable one that has multiple positions.

I just leave my carriage bar the same as I would for a normal reformer workout. If you’re tall and you feel like you’re a little cramped when you put your feet on the jumpboard, you could push the carriage bar back one, but I wouldn’t push it back too far bc you want to get deep in your bend when the carriage comes in as if you were doing a squats.

Make sure you’re getting a deep bend in the squat. Many times people try to jump too quick once their feet hit the jumpboard which is why the reformer moves. When you jump are you letting the reformer come almost to the stopper? The reformer might move a little but shouldn’t move a lot
