It depends on the Company procedure, usually is between 1000feet and MDA however it could be different

Down wind is the part of the pattern when you are abeam the runway before the base...

Scusami per il calcolo del tempo da considerare quando sei a traverso al threshold della pista usi l’altitudine del circle to landing o ll’altezza dalla pista (altitudine - runway threshold altitude) Perche’ effettivamente i feet da scendere sono quelli dall’altezza della pista. Io non sono un pilota ma mi diverto con i simulatori. Grazie

Hi captain can we fly the ILS approach and press the ALT HOLD 100 feet above circling minima and then continue with the remaining circling procedure ? Is not possible technically? Or its not done as manufacturer recommendation to prevent CFIT? Or it's not done this way as a company policy to prevent CFIT?

It is not ideal, we fly using VNAV and the minima on the Mcp so that we are sure the aircraft will level off at the Minima. If you use app mode you are at risk of not levelling off...
