Thanks for sharing your tinkering. Love the cabinet style

Nice video. That front coin door. Those mounting holes are square holes designed for a cup head bolt, also known as a carriage bolt or coach bolt, that has a domed head and a square neck which makes the bolt self locking. They would look a million bucks and really top the look off. I'll build me one of these some day for sure.

Thanks. Yes i used cup head bolts before. I just like to use things that i have in my shop without having to purchase extra stuff.

@@MajorFrenchy Yeah fair enough. Hex head bolts aren't a deal breaker and I kinda figured you were using what you had to get the job done. Cupheads would be something to get later that are waaaay down the list of priorities.

Looking great! I love how there are so many possible ways of making a vpin. Everyone can do what he likes best

10:46 is there a way to extract flipper-solenoid-enable signal from DOF or anyhow? When I take the flipper-solenoid singnals from DOF it has a unwanted amount of lag. So I simply wire them to the flipper-buttons to make them instaneous and fast. But this way the flipper-solenoids ingnite even when the table is in tilt or VP software is not running. I tried to get used to the lag but the amount and the variation of the lag time bothers me :). Or maybe this only happens with my sainsmart based output controller. with a flipper-solenoid-enable signal I would be able to gate the signals from the buttons to achive the fastest response+functionality to drive the flipper solenoids.

It's probably better to talk about vpinball standalone instead of batocera. Batocera is only the frontend (and os distribution).
@MajorFrenchy8 ай бұрын
Actually Batocera is the Operating system. The front end is emulationStation. I have to keep things simple.
@cyberflexx9539 ай бұрын
which Batocera load did you use? Was it one from ArcadePunks?
@MajorFrenchy9 ай бұрын
No. The official version from batocera. 39

Real pinball machines don't make noise when you release the flipperbutton.
@MajorFrenchy8 ай бұрын
I understand that. But this is not a real pinball machine , it is a virtual pinball machine.
