Of the many tutorials I've watched, and seeing the end result, this is one of the best! I love whimsical, wonky, creative, bright, happy, off the cuff, and so many more adjectives. You've made so many happy with this and I hope the recipient will treasure this new "heirloom" forever. Thank you for sharing. So appreciated.

My son’s name is Nik. When he was growing up it was Nikki. After Nikki Cruz. So that draws me to your channel right away. But THIS!!!! Wow. I absolutely love it. Hubs & I started quilting almost 2 years ago in retirement. He loves the precision. I love the artistry. So I’m happy to show him both are good. He is Michelangelo and I am not. But I can’t say I’m Picasso because I’m not good. Yet. Thanks for sharing your artistry & your joy! ❤

I have never enjoyed a series more than this one. It's been a revelation watching your methods and thinking process all along the way. The finished quilt is just amazing. It is exactly what quilting should be about - happy, fun, creative, freeing. I am definitely buying the pattern booklet for reference and hope I can free up my rigid sewing habits and allow myself to play with my fabrics and enjoy them. It's been an inspiration.

I am starting to watch this series at the end and will definitely go back to the beginning. It is fun to see HOW MUCH FUN YOU ARE HAVING. Years ago, I was in a house block exchange. I made my block to resemble my childhood home and put a plant in the window. I look forward to seeing your finished quilt and how you quilted it. Now I live in a city that end with the word Forest. Might be fun to put the houses as my childhood neighborhood and a road to my current home with a paper pieced orest preserves nearby..maybe a welcome to sign to mark entrance to current city. Thank you for encouraging creativeness and locking the door on the quilt police in our mind while making this quilt. I cannot wait to play house with my blocks.

Also, you could leave the different levels of ground fabric and put in some of your curved Drunkard’s Path blocks to simulate hills. 😊

Nice to see the car pulling the camper got into your quilt top. It is amazing and my kind of quilting. I made a Christmas quilt this way with another friend. We made two blocks a month and exchanged one - at the end of a year, she made and wall hanging and I added many more squared, strips, etc. and made a huge bed quilt. SO FUN and liberating is the key descriptive of my feelings.

U should be proud!!! That is one of the most beautiful quilts I've ever seen. U are a girl after my own heart. I used to go to a quilting group and they only did all the traditional quilt patters with the exception of 1 or2 girls. But none out of the box really. I drew some pics of my favorite chocolates on muslin colored them in with crayon and wrote Gumps saying Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. Then had all kinds of candy fabric around it. I also took a coffee mug and drew around that and put chocolate material for hot chocolate, added some Mittens, snowballs, a snowman, some pine trees, a fireplace and some other things. Made one just like it for my daughter. The hot chocolate was sitting on a table in front of a window with icicles on top of window with steam coming up from chocolate and it had tiny marshmallows in it. I've made a chicken quilt for my daughter plus some other goofy type chicken hangup and a cat quilt for me out of previous cats I owned. Still got a lot of ideas plus I've made several other quilts...none traditional. Lol. Keep coming up with ideas. Will be watching. Love the title "Liberated Quilts". That's what I will name mine too. I didn't really have a category to put them in. Now I do! So thanks.😊
