I already commented on this adorable room on Facebook. I have to say I just watched your Germany video and I was so moved by Mike’s testimony 😭 . I am a Christian and I got saved very unexpectedly with a visit to my current church out of curiosity 25 years ago! ⛪️ Y’all are right, it not about religion or tradition, it’s about the moving of the Holy Spirit in your heart. Salvation makes everything in life clear! Thanks for sharing! Your children are blessed to be raised by godly parents. We have many young couples in my church raising young children. I also think it is great that your boys share a room. Your home is adorable and truly not every kids needs their own room. Society tells us that once we have a handful of kids we need to get a bigger house but you know when i was younger I did not have my own room. My parents financially could not afford a bigger home. I got my own room by the time I was a senior in highschool. You know I grew up just fine, not having everything. I feel I was blessed with what i had.

One of my beasties and her sister both had sinks in their bedrooms growing up. It was sooooo nice to have when they got to be middle schoolers and above. It made sharing a bathroom really easy and I always wanted one too.

You did a beautiful job with this room! Do not say you could never be a designer. You have clearly designed your own children's room. The more you create the better you'll become at it to just look at an empty room and envision ideas of beauty. Stay away from negative sayings about yourself and give yourself credit for what you have done with your sons' room and your home. God bless!

The tablecloth Idea is awesome. Definitely, keep the sink in my opinion. From mess and spills to, upset tummies that might not make the trip to the bathroom, dirty little hands from art projects to treen years useful to have in a pinch.

Oh my word, is that Isaiah with the blond curly hair? Be still my heart, so precious. Reminds me of my Caleb, he had the white blonde hair & was my soother boy, he's now 16. Love the blue on the crib & bed. Such a beautiful room in blues, cream & browns. Love that you have your crib. My boys crib was almost the same only no boards on the ends, spindles went right up. It was a Jenny Lind crib in honey oak from Sears, I loved the vintage feel of it. Love the bunny wall paper & all your aninal things. Absolute score to get the fan for $1. I have one almost the same. 😊💙💕

Our first home we bought in 1984 had a sink in the nursery. I did use it quite a bit because I didn’t use baby wipes just little cotton face cloths. 😂 Your nursery is absolutely adorable. I was telling my husband that I wish I had you tube channels like yours watch for mentoring back in the 80’s.❤️ Thanks for sharing your decorating process and your beautiful home. ❤️

I think the sink in the bedroom is a GOOD idea! ..back in the days of yore ...there was always a "dry sink" with a big bowl & water pitcher in bedroom & hotel rooms for people to "freshen up" ( shave, wash face, brush teeth, comb hair, etc. ) I would kept it!!

I’m so glad they still taught home economics when I was in junior high! I made most of my clothes when I was in high school. But I still love working with woven checked or plaid fabric for curtains, etc because it makes it so much easier to cut and sew a truly straight seam! 😂 The nursery is beautiful! I remember the checkerboard table from the first reveal of the older boys bedroom after you did the beadboard ceiling. Such a special piece for them to have.
