Super helpful! Thank you for posting. I purchased these wedges, and I am really struggling with the W grind. I will be subbing it out for the T grind after seeing this.

@@GolfBarons Thank you! Having a lot of trouble with the W grind (58 degree) out of the sand. Was just golfing in Scottsdale and played a course where there wasn't a lot of sand in the bunkers. I was hitting everything thin over the green. I've always been a solid sand player. If you were using this grind out of the sand would you not open the face? I always have the club very open out of the sand but I'm finding with this grind and the high bounce it's just not working.

@Peter Peltekoff keep the W in the kit for when conditions are soft, soft sand, or even kikuyu. But from tight lies or firm sand, the bounce sometimes comes into play too much. And yes, the more you open the blade, the higher the effective bounce.

@@GolfBarons Your advice is so helpful. This is honestly the most helpful video I found on KZbin with info about the Ping wedges. What grind would you get for firm sand and tight lies?

@Peter Peltekoff this is where preference comes in. S or Eye2 Grind (not featured) will work in sand. S suits most conditions. T is a finesse players grind and can be a little testing for mere mortals. If the opportunity arises to test them, do it. You'll learn a lot.
