How does Ping justify charging more than a Vokey or RTX? They'd need to be priced below the tried and true models for me to even consider them.

PING believe their product is worth that value, and they retain trade value very well. If you look at mygolfspy wedge testing year after year their consistency and resistance to water tests show PING to be near the top. - Thomas

@@2ndswing just looked, and the data shows that Ping is not better than the Vokey or Mizuno wedges, both of which are cheaper. I've just never seen someone use a Ping wedge before.

Vokey wedges still are the most popular within golfers but PING are worth a consideration their hydropearl finish does and excellent job of retaining spin, the wedges generally are pretty forgiving, just another option to consider in the wedge market - Thomas

2nd Swing Golf if you have any skill whatsoever, you are not buying a used wedge. That is a terrible argument on their behalf. These are way, way over priced.
