same for me, seen 100's, but with this tour the music and the show were so perfectly combined. A lot of LED is used today in combination with screens and live human performances, but how overwhelming it can be, it misses the dynamics and pure art.

I wasn't at Earl's Court but I saw them on this Pulse tour. It was one of the greatest things I've ever experienced. I love seeing people discover Pink Floyd and what incredible musicians they were, as well as what insanely wonderful shows they put on. No one can make a guitar sing like David Gilmour. I always love it when a new reactor is impressed by the light show during the first guitar solo! They usually don't realize that by the end of the second guitar solo it's going to look a lot like the aliens landing in close encounters of the third kind at the end of that movie!!! A simple term for how Pink Floyd makes you feel and makes most people feel is that they are hypnotic! Their music puts you in a trance and you feel like you're floating is I believe a description of how most people feel! You know one last thing bobbing your head back and forth is cool I guess and if you like keeping time with the music but if you look into the audience during a Pink Floyd concert NOBODY IS MOVING! The entire audience is usually transfixed on the light show the music and sits still in amazement just watching!

First rule: You never take your eyes off of the show. Pink Floyd is as much a visual show as a musical one. Every Time you close your eyes or look away you defeat the purpose. Especially with the Pulse concert. You want to close your eyes, look away react to the studio recordings. Most people who watch Pink Floyd reaction videos want to the see the reaction of the Reactor when the lights hit. When the reality that the lights are moving with the music. When the lights are magnifying the emotions they are feeling. Basically you wasted 10 min of our time and your own.
@showmoke9 ай бұрын
100% agree with you. I think in many cases, the reviewer doesn't have a monitor in front of them so is not watching the video of the performance at the time of recording. I'm not sure if that is the case here, but with some other reviewers it's very obvious that they are not watching a screen probably because there is no screen in the room at the time. One can see that their head and eyes are moving around everywhere and it's clear that they are not focussed on any monitor.

The PULSE concert is a LEGENDARY performance. EVERY SONG is an incredible version. It ended up being Floyd’s last tour, the most expensive tour in history to that point, and one of the greatest concert performances ever recorded. The stage took 3 days to set up, two more to break it all down again, and 50+ trucks to haul it around. 180 feet wide, a 120-foot tall arch, and a brain-melting light show. The show was actually better than the video can display (PF put speakers around the perimeter of the venue, so sound could come at you from anywhere.) Do yourself a favor; when time permits, watch the whole 2+ hour concert. It’s worth it.
