The Pulse Tour (saw them 5 times) was easily the best overall concert experience I have ever been to. I have been to over 150 concerts (almost all of them for major artists or bands) and Floyd's sound quality and light show are completely unmatched. One of my friends once commented at the end of the first half of a concert (they break for intermission) that he felt we seriously underpaid for our tickets and thought we should give them more money. And it was only halfway through the show! And as cool as that stage looks on video, it is nothing compared to being in the 15th row center where you are dwarfed by the stage, the lights and lasers all all going above your head and behind you, and you can feel the heat from the explosions, and when they hit a bass note so low and loud that you can't actually exhale until the note has subsided.

Pink Floyd have create many Songs that by Masterpieces, but for me "echoes" was the Song that is on Top off all. The lyrics and the composion are absolutely unmachted. It is the highest Piece of Art in Musikbuisness and History. When People listen to it in 100 Years, the will blown away, it is timeless. This Musik is from another World and tear out your Soul and penetrate it and but it back to your Body. I´m a Pink Floyd fan for decates and "echoes" is the Crown Jewel of the entire Music History. I met David Gilmour in 1984 back stage at a concert in Hollywood Calif. He gave me a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shock both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well.

You could feel the heat and force from those explosions half way down the arena, I think at the end a lot of people where genuinely a bit stunned to be honest. Comfortably Numb always gets reviewed on KZbin but actually it was this song, played just before the interval, that made you realise that you were seeing something really special.

They had over 300 speaker cabinets and surround sound. The circle of lights in the middle is moveable and can tilt forward almost to horizontal.
