Ladies and Gentlemen, under the age of 45 you are listening to a real rock band. Music is life for these men. They did not slap an album together in two weeks to make bundles of money but spent years working on an album. One of my very favorite bands and was my therapy as a teenager. Don't listen to one song but listen to the entire album. Thank You Sid and all the others for the music.

You can see just a little peak or tiny glimpse of Gilmour telling Roger to turn around and get to the front with him, at the 1:57 mark. You can barely see it. It’s right at the end of a clip. He points and tilts his head motioning Roger to turn around. He must’ve been pissed Roger had his back to the crowd and making Gilmour do all the work

I look at Roger always having his back to the audience, and making David pretty much be on his own up there in front of the crowd, and it’s no wonder Gilmour won the rights to keep playing Pink Floyd. Roger didn’t even act like he *wanted* to be up on that stage. Plus there were a few times Roger was really rude to the audience members. He did the other members of Pink Floyd a favor when he left

The whole is definitely better than the sum of its parts. Roger, as the main writer, probably felt that once a piece was written and recorded, the cake was baked... get on to something else. Gilmour is obviously more performance oriented as the stsge front man.

@paulr35117 жыл бұрын
Who cares what dates the audio and video are from?? If it doesn't suit your standards then just buy the bloody album. It's called "PULSE" It also comes in a DVD - or even bluray version now.. It has all of the best Gilmour / floyd on it Live. This clip of comfortably numb is by far the best that Gilmour ever did did after floyd and it still is.
@ThomasHinde1237 жыл бұрын
Just a couple of things wrong with your comment. Neither the Pulse DVD (which I bought, but didn't seem to be bloody, I'll check again though) or the Pulse album, has Young Lust on it. Pulse is from 1994, with the album having songs from multiple dates whilst the DVD and all the sound from it are all from October 20 1994, live at Earls Court. Just because it's your favourite, probably because it has Dark Side performed live, doesn't make it everyone else's favourite. Maybe if you searched for Is There Anybody Out There (The Wall Live 1980-81), and listened to it, or listened to an original, unedited concert (my channel), you would prefer it over PULSE. I don't know what music you like... I think many people would care to listen to the real audio of the recording, not from another date. The video from this is from August 8, whilst the audio is August 7, taken from the live album Is There Anybody Out There (The Wall Live 1980-81). I wanted to listen to the original audio, but with this more HD video. The uploader has a great video of Run Like Hell, which contains the original audio, not the live album. I have since found the whole concert's original audio and video, and uploaded it to KZbin in two parts, one where the audio is from August 8 (98% of the video was from that date as well) and another where the audio was from August 9 (again, almost all of the video was taken from August 9). I care about the dates because you don't see exactly what you hear, especially with the whammy bar.

Ok.. something has gone wrong. What i said above was that Comfortable Numb was the best ever. And YES it was at Earls Court
