Plenty of those on that side preach old school views on how women and girls are meant to be treated. Plenty of those values are horrid, but some are actually pretty hard core into "respecting women."

I’ve seen so many people just skip over the Imogen part so I’m glad you guys noticed it, to me at least there’s been quite a few signs she’s into women…..when she talked about wanting to date Nick and then Ben she mentioned them knowing each other for so long, being best friends like as if they “should” date, as if she’s decided she should have a boyfriend and just chooses some guy she’s close with without actually liking them (no “heartstopper” moments) ALSO during truth or dare Sahar said Imogen stopped texting her when she got a boyfriend which rlly reads as a “confused/scared and can’t deal with it right now” type of thing, then when Imogen calls Sahar an ally I saw that as her kinda trying to bait her to see if she’s queer like if she could even be a prospect……maybe i’m reading into it too much but I just notice a lot of potential comphet and then the interest scene at prom that makes me think it’s possible she could even be a lesbian, but if not then definitely she’s having an awakening 👀 I just see a lot of stuff that reeaallyyyy is like my own experiences

that's such a good explanation of how it feels to accept your asexuality/aromanticism. I spent the first 26 years of my life with this dread at the back of my mind. Dread that one day, I'd have to force myself into a relationship, force myself into letting someone be physical with me. Ugh. But when I fully accepted I was aro-ace it was a kind of euphoria as he said. All those fears and dread that chained me were smashed and I felt free for the first time in my life. No, it was like realizing the chains were never really there, it was just that societal norms had convinced me they were. And I could finally say, "okay, since I don't have to stay here, where do I want to go?" The possibilities were endless. And I belonged to myself, a kind of autonomy and agency I never realized I had. It's like I'd stored it away because I thought I'd eventually have to give it away. Now, I'm just me. My body, soul, time, and space belong to me alone. And that was all I ever wanted, I just needed to acknowledge it for it to come true.

Ben isn’t out and probs never will be because of his parents. And that makes him lash out and he has a lot of self loathing. Meanwhile, Darcy is in a similar situation with her own but she’s loving and happy with who she is. She cares about her loved ones (namely her friends) and she isn’t afraid to show it!

NO one should be shocked by what Nick does...the boy KNOWS what he is doing! (He is very romantic, knows how to flirt, and I think he was not all that honest when he said he didn't know how to give a hickey...just hard kissing won't cause a hickey.) Example: Nick wore grey sweat pants the first time he invited Charlie to his house, and everyone knows the thing about grey sweat pants. Don't believe me? Re=watch the scene, and be observant. Second, in the same scene he starts the conversation with Charlie with "You look" NOT "It looks" about his hair. He lets Charlie wear his clothes immediately, and doesn't stop. He says that he doesn't know how to come out, and doesn't want to at first, but he is the one who tells everyone they are "going out" uk slang for we are dating. Nick is a bisexual king! He is both observant, and is very empathetic, he is masculine, plays rugby, yet loves a boy who isn't quite as masculine as him, and DOES NOT CARE..it is about the person, and Charlie is lovely!...his mum raised him right! I love Charlie, but I need a Nick in my life cause he is the perfect boyfriend...he truly cares, protective, and I think it would last!@@PinkPopcast

I really appreciate the way they tackle disordered eating this season... I've dealt with it in many forms over the years (not eating enough at times, bingeing relentlessly, or bingeing and then purging afterwards due to the feeling of guilt and lack of control). When Nick says "I just want to understand," and offers his support to Charlie, it's such a beautiful moment... Even if you can't fully understand due to not ever actually experiencing it, that's all you can do and all most of us (I think, whether we want to admit it or not) really want, regardless of how uncomfortable or sad it might make us at first. A big part of disordered eating is really about control, whether that be a lack of control, a desire for control, or a strict sense of control, and that often stems from disorder in other aspects of one's life, and either a desire/fixation on gaining that control back, or as an outlet to indulge when you feel lost. Someone saying that you don't have to be sorry and that they just want to understand is one of the BEST things anyone could say to me. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't think I am

I'm gonna have to rewatch the second season, but I don't think that Charlie ACTUALLY agreed to telling Nick when he feels like hurting himself... in any way shape or form... I love the show , and love this story. I've seen the second season twice all the way through (haven't read the graphic novels), and just based off of what I've seen, things might get wild... I'm routing for Nick and Charlie, but I recognize a "half truth" when I see it.. Thank God Nick is such a sweetheart, and I can't wait to see how their relationship progresses

I watched this video at 2 am (hooray for Insomnia hahaha) And I had to control myself a lot not to laugh out loud when the teacher asked Elle to explain her work and you guys started saying "its mine" "I made it myself" hahaha. This season was amazing, it was cute and light just like the first one, but this time it dealt with several very important subjects. I love the video. Hugs from Brazil

The book "This Winter" by Alice Osman is told from Tory's point of view. In the book Charlie has a really bad eating disorder and spends a few weeks in a mental hospital.

Awesome picking up on the possibility of Isaac being ace! Just a side-note: aces are by definition queer, they don't need to be romantically interested in the opposite gender.

I love how you edit the videos, it's like almost 10pm here (I live in Brazil) and I have to physically keep from cracking up and waking my mom up. But I gotta say, Isaac's whole dilema about how he feels, not knowing if he likes someone or what that's supposed to feel like. Even hearing "you just haven't found the right person" - I've been through that and it was so confusing. Today, still, I find myself thinking shit. What if I really never feel it? What if I never have that with someone else? Am I gonna be empty forever. But that's just it, that mindset is how I grew up, with the non-ace non-aro framing. I HAVE love and company and friendship and people in my life, I can care for people, I can love people, just not in this one very specific way. Anyway that's why I cried for like an hour after Isaac discover this thing about himself because it brings SO MUCH RELIEF.

For those who don’t know, the song that played at the end of the prom episode was written by Toa’s actor and another artist I think who are in a duo. It’s called “you’re so pretty” by wasia project
