More proof that God is in the recycling business. Redemption testimony always moves me because I am one of those recycled sinners and I know just how cold and lonely the other side is. Thanks for sharing your amazing story Father Calloway.

9:05 yep Father that’s how it happens a lot of the time. It happened with me a while back when I was an upset kid and I just felt an urge to go to her. Eventually that’s how I started looking at Jesus a different way. Before I was just unaware of who he was despite going to Catholic school for 2-4 years.

Fr. Calloway used to say it was a book about Medjugorje that converted him, but I notice he no longer specifically mentions Our Lady of Medjugorje! Our Lady saved my life in Medjugorje! I wish more priests and bishops and converts would speak of all the conversions there!! Witness Our Lady of Medjugorje!

I have a similar conversion to father’s living in California. At a young age I began following now convert and protestant pastor David Rocha’s (who has a KZbin channel for his ministry) then gang music. However, I wanted to “slow my roll” to give my mom an easier time and began staying home not going out. Paths began converging into me coming across music from a Christian rap artist local to the area who’s music I began sprinkling in my listening repertoire which was mostly gang music. My mom being a good catholic mom, once came back from a charismatic convention and I asked her, “what did the preacher say”, just to make conversation. She said to “read from Genesis to Apocalypse”, and I asked “what’s that”, she said “that’s from the beginning to the end of the Bible“. Then I interiorly asked myself out of curiosity, “what’s up with this Bible stuff and why do so many people pay attention to it?” Then right then and there I just said out loud, “I’m gonna read it”. And so I began reading little by little from the beginning (mind you I barely graduated high school). All I had to go with were the Bible kid’s movies from childcare when my mom would take us to prayer groups as kids. But that was enough lol they had me hooked waiting to get to those stories and the good thing is that at the beginning of the Bible there’s a lot of violence and which felt like an action movie for som reason:) All in all, I’d eventually have a dream of being crucified next to Jesus like the good thief and when waking up and sharing it with my grandma, another pillar of faith, she shared Paul’s words “I’ve been crucified for Christ and it’s no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me”. I said in excitement, “that’s what the artist says!” and just like that I was able to tell my grandma “I’m gonna change”. Thanks be to God!

Why does he say the priest told his mom about the Eucharist, confession and the saints but he didn't mention the gopsel or anything about Jesus? And why does this guy leave Jesus almost completely out of his testimony? Mary is blessed but Jesus says "blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
@beatlecristian2 жыл бұрын
Because the Eucharist is Jesus. Jesus Christ is present in the Eucharist, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.
@chrisbennett32902 жыл бұрын
@@beatlecristian Does Jesus only exist in a cup and in bread form in Cathedrals or is he also seated at the right hand of the Father reigning in heaven? If he's reigning in Heaven should we speak of him as a real person then and not just a sacrament?

@@chrisbennett3290 it’s both and. He’s seated at the right hand of the Father and present Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity is the Most Blessed Sacrament on the Altar.

When you have no idea the Eucharist is Jesus. 😂 Go to a Mass, it is the Gospel. If you don't confess your sins AND do penance then you are in deep trouble.
