Thanks so much for this video. I ordered this to replace the native head unit in my 2017 Subaru Forester. I was feeling a little uneasy hoping I wasn't going to screw up my default features in favor of getting carplay. Now I see how I'm getting a far superior experience.

Hey guys, thanks for this very educational video. I have the 1400 Nex, and I am also wondering how to get album artwork to display when on bluetooth. It doesn't show anything. I am afraid that in your video you skipped ahead to showing the artwork on Pandora, and not how to get it on bluetooth. Can you show that? Thanks!

So to do your own picture you have to have a thumb drive.? You can't just hook up ur cell phone to the usb cord?

Very late but yeah, you need a flash drive. Just for photos though. The way iPhone uploads photos is unique and requires specialized software

I'm lost at how to access the USB port or line in Port of the receiver is in the dash. Wouldn't you have to take the panel off and pull the receiver out reach time?

Hey guys please give this a read. Installed this headunit and everything is working beautifully EXCEPT I cannot access any Audio Settings at all. They are always greyed out. Only the Mute option is available. I can’t even setup the audio RCA outputs because I can’t access the settings at all. Handbrake circuit works and I am able to access Bluetooth settings when I apply the brake. Already bought a second unit just to try it. Headunit is set in standard mode.

Can you listen to the radio tuner and view the GPS at the same time? Can you listen to the tuner and view the backup camera while traveling forward at the same time? For example: If you were pulling a trailer with your truck and wanted to keep an eye on the cargo but did not want to sacrifice listening to the tuner on the radio. I had this AVH 1330NEX and everything is going well except skipping via steering wheel control in Applecarplay. My car is ford focus 2016 SE . Is it because of the receiver is incompatible with my steering wheel control? other controls like voice control, volume up and down are fine but only can't skip via steering wheel control.

Hey guys, I have this radio in my 8th gen Civic. When using Apple Carplay with my iPhone 6S there’s an extremely loud static noise, no matter what I’m doing in Carplay. Also, when Siri is activated it’s abysmally loud as well. What could be causing this issue?

And how is it done? is that something to do with not having to attach a wire to the parking break? If there is a way I can do that and still have full fuctionality, that would be great. Thanks

All you have to do is ground the cable to the chassis and it should bypass it. You can look it up on google if you're not sure

Hi Guys I just installed this pioneer 1330 nex in my 2015 kia rio hatch and I'm having problems with EQ as when parked and the car running and the steering mute button won't work and EQ is greyed out but all other controls do work but once you start driving the EQ flickers and sometimes stays on and then the mute button will work and when you stop again the EQ is greyed and mute button won't work again, so can you please help with a fix for this problem? Quick question, just replace my pioneer deh-80prs with a pioneer z5050bt. My steering wheel remote Control work for the Deh-80prs, but when i install the z5050bt it doesn’t work anymore. Try plugging back the deh-80prs and it work perfectly. The z5050bt comes with a steering wheel remote wire, just wires no interface, that has input 1, inputs 2, and ground. Any idea what going on? CarPlay does work that way, yes. It will work any iPhone when you plug it in. It will also not keep any information on the radio either. So if it is unwilling removed they will not have you info.

+Enrique unregistered yes what type of car. The Bluetooth call sound only comes through the front speakers outputs. Go into fader and fad to the front and see if you have sound
