Nice video. After doing this my wife tells me the domestic hot water is hotter now. When I run hot water at the kitchen sink, the digital display on the boiler shows 135 F but I have the temperature set for 125 F. I checked the temperature of the water coming out at the kitchen faucet and it's right around 135 F. What is causing the boiler to overshoot the set temperature? The hot water temperature thermistor is obviously good because it does show the correct water temperature on the display.

Thank you for your video. I was trying to flush the domestic water side but my pump was not bringing up the vinegar, I found out that the problem was not the pump but the pressure coming from the boiler, how do I release pressure so that I can have my liquid circulating? I did isolate cold and hot and opened up service valves, on my heat exchanger side i had no problem doing it, tx again.

Why do you have two water pressure tanks, and what is their air pressure in pounds? Thank you

Hi Mikey !! Great video !! Just flushed out my ch 240 combi and I have one question. What would cause the unit to run all the time even if nothing is being called up? I removed the remote and the thermostat and she still runs constantly.

We have a Navien Tankless Water Heater, Model#: NR240NG. Last week or so, it's been leaking Hot Water from the exhaust hose into the drain cup. It's make quite a noise when it's coming down into the drain area and what I did is the turn off the Navien Water Heater and turn off the water that's going into the Heater. Wait about a min. or so. Then turn on both Water going In and the plug the heater cord back into the socket and the noise is gone. This happened 3 times within a last week. Any idea what's causing this? Is this something I can fix on my own? I am not a plumber. Appreciate the help. Thanks. Paul

Do you also flush the boiler side with the Rectorseal cleaning solution?

I just love it when these idiots post a video but don't bother following up with questions. This is the EXACT same question I had as well.

How did you flush the heating side with no flush valves there? My setup is exactly the same as this one, the installer did not put in flush valves on that side.

there are 2 valves but they are lower in the manifold. red and blue valves, and the service ports are capped higher up closer to the machine.
