A wonderful model of central and eastern London, including the new 2012 Olympic zone. Every block is exactly represented and major building and landmarks (such as the Houses of Parliament and the Olympic Stadiums) are fully modelled. Most interestingly all recent and proposed building projects that have been submitted for planning permission are included, so you can get a good feel for the London of the near future.
The model is located at the Building Centre, Store Street (WC1E 7BT). Entrance is free. Well worth a visit!
