Piping Tribute to Alister Bo Walker by Pipe Major Gary West

Saturday 25th May 2024 saw the annual parade of the Atholl Highlanders.
Retired Drum Major Alister Bo Walker, who served 50 years in The Atholl Highlanders Pipes & Drums sadly passed away not long after the 2023 Atholl Highlanders Parade.
Pipe Major Gary West played this tune as a tribute to Alister.

Shame I'm sorry hear that didn't he retire just last year or was it 2022 but what a beautiful tribute to him thank you for sharing this Jim

2022 parade both Alister Bo Walker (Drum Major) and Ian Duncan (Pipe Major) received their 50 year service awards. This was in October 2022 due to covid. The parade returned to its usual slot in May 2023 where both men retired and the West brothers became Pipe Major and Drum Major.
