Excerpts from Scottie Pippen’s memoir got social media buzzing yesterday as Pippen didn’t hold back about how he felt about Michael Jordan and his documentary 'The Last Dance'. Pippen wrote of MJ quote, 'He couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried,' and also explained that his former teammate was determined to prove he's a bigger star than LeBron is now. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe discuss Pippen's comment on MJ.

Jordan never tried to paint Pip in a negative light. Jordan gave Pip the car he won for being finals MVP. He said because Pip is his MVP. Jordan gambling, comment about Republicans buy sneakers, the way he treated his teammates. Pip is the one who said he would choose to not go back into the game if he had it to do over again. Pip made himself look like that. Also, even if Jordan did release this because lebron was getting unto credit. The doc served to show people who didn't already know he's by far the goat. Also Jordan was definitely not portrayed in a positive light in the Last Dance.

Ppl misinterpret that script a lot. It doesnt mean to let ppl do what they want to you or to turn a cheek or blind eye to immorality but rather to face/question it peacefully/logically/compasionately and w/understanding. It better translates as be the bigger person and not to be so quick to anger or let ego exacerbate things but yes this also means if youre slapped for no good reason or its obviously unwarranted you should not exact revenge or fight fire w/fire unless theres no other way around it. In other words peace should be the first option when attacked if the situation allows the effort. Js

It was so valuable to me as a player to see someone who had the same desire, determination, passion and love for the game. Who knew that No. 23 would be here 23 years later presenting me into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame? MJ, you have touched so many people’s lives, but none like mine. Jordan in the other hand before Scottie carried the bulls to be a relevant team, Chicago was nothing before jordan. The front office just did a good job recruiting and getting good picks and help for Michael even if Scottie wouldn’t of gone to the bulls, Im sure Michael would still have won championships, in the other hand, Scottie by himself, being the man, wouldn’t have won a championship.

Scottie can say how he feels, just how he feels are the feelings of petty, bitter ingrate. Essentially, he was sour over signing a stupid contract that he had no one to blame but himself for. He never once stops to consider that while he had an influence on the Bulls, perhaps MJ had an influence on him and helped him to achieve more as well. Michael didn't pay your contract, nor did he sign it. Scottie did some juvenile emotional things that displayed his ego came before his responsibilities to the team. After all this time, he still hasn't come to terms with the decisions he has yet to take accountability for. Scottie should have had nothing but gratitude for being a part of the legend that Jordan created.

I don't get it with Scottie it's not MJ's fault for not calling him about this interview? Besides MJ's too busy being an owner of the Charlotte Hornets and golfing. What ESPN should have done is called all the the bull teammate to do this together? Instead of knocking his door. But I don't really get it with Scottie knows Michael Jordan always praise him for what he has done. I got it way! he sometimes said: without Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan, Mike will not sit in six rings? But I can go for the same for him, if MJ hadn returned to the team. He wouldn't be saying 6! Besides Scotty how did a chance to do things by himself without MJ, but he was selfish on his coach that he call his coat racist that's kind of disrespect and overboard? Last time I checked The Last Dance was about the ENTIRE Bulls organization, literally! From the owner, to the General Manager, to the teammates, down to the security guards. Why was it okay to show MJ’s gambling issues, him losing his dad, him looking like a bully, but they can’t show Scottie walking out on his teammates 🤷🏽‍♀️ Ain’t nobody taking shots at Scottie! They showed a lot of negative things about MJ, so if you’re arguing that it should’ve been more about the team, it already was and Scottie should take the good and the bad.

Scottie brought his own elegance and all-round game during the same time that Jordan showcased his scoring prowess. We never watched and enjoyed Jordan without watching and enjoying Pippen the same time. For a guy who gave his best years to the Bulls getting physically beaten and bruised in the process, why didn't he win one without MJ isn't just a fair question. The Bulls gave him Pete Myers the 2 years that MJ was away in between the two 3-peats. Perhaps with someone a notch better, he might have just won. The Last Dance didn't make me change my opinion regarding anyone involved - I just enjoyed the basketball and the memories from those great years.

LeBron is better than Jordan. Jordan could never take a team to the finals without at least 3 hall of famers. @@mikemills7943 well, to be fair, Scottie had several revenue streams. For Scottie, it wasn't JUST about the money. It was a matter of principle--compensation ultimately reflects how an organization values its members. And he wasn't wrong to gripe about that. As for MJ, I agree to some extent, he may have been insensitive but then again, the goal during the last dance was to do something legendary. And it wasn't as if it was only MJ who would've benefitted from it. The whole team would. What bothers me is why Scottie felt so slighted about how he was portrayed in the Last Dance. To me personally, I've identified with him and learned a lot from his struggles and how he dealt with them.
