I haven't had a spare tube on my bike for over 6 months now due to the bulkyness .... can you put in with an insert in there?

I got a flat in my first 100kms 😔. Does anyone know the best way to patch these tubes? I’m thinking of trying the tubolito patch repair kit

I have never patched one but I don’t see why a regular patch kit wouldn’t work. Make sure you rough the tribe up before applying the adhesive because it’s super slippery

What if I have a puncture in my tire? Is it possible to apply a standard patch to TPU?

Pretty sure you can, they expand a lot so make sure you use a lot of glue so the ends of the patch don’t stand up on inflation.

The parktool patch hold very weel on this tube. Fix my puncture in a minute with it 🤘🏼

Yes, Holds air until you damage it

$50... it's probably cost $2 to manufacture. Inserts are a better solution to ensure you get to the end of the trail so you can address the problem. In a race no one wants to dismount their tire that's full of sealant and slop a tube in. Also, I've been in that situation and it's really easy to have the tube pinched by the bead of the tire and it rips your tube. I can't imagine how frustrating that would be with a $50 tube.
