This group got to do their entire little skit before being asked to leave. The police approached them initially after watching them set up, but they weren't asked to leave. Then the COH talked to them, and they were allowed to stay. They then went on to annoy and disrespect that guard with a ridiculous little skit! Kudos to the guard who didn't flinch once! Only after one of them put a mask of the King on and danced like a fool, did the police appear to ask them to leave. I’m not sure how it works and what the rules are but it seems the police couldn’t do anything about it until they themselves thought, sod this we’ve seen enough’ should’ve been stopped at the first instance and told to leave, I’d like to hear from the COH as to why he agreed to letting them do this, it’s possible they told him a complete load of bull crap which may have sounded feasible at the time but they had a completely different agenda all along.

I've been watching these King's guard videos and I am impressed at the restraint the King's guard have displayed. I'm from the Philippines and I find it appalling that other nationalities do not have any respect for these active duty soldiers. It must be stressful to perform this job and I feel the mental health of these soldiers must be strained everyday. I hope the tourism board and the military would change the rules and be more strict in implementing rules and guidelines especially on an active military installation like this. Just by simply installing chains and additional bollards can help the guards immensely. And having a tour guide on the premises would help educate and control the crowds IMO. These men and women deserve our respect and should be treated with dignity and honor. They're not actors or mascots of a movie franchise. They are soldiers doing an important duty.

We in the UK know how to deal with much of what foreigners see as disrespect . To us it is the badly behaved visitor who has shown themselves up . Our soldiers are trained to deal with everything they need to go fighting ,and that includes NOT reacting to the individual smartarse. Off duty they probably exchange stories about the worst they have seen and joke about it . It`s the British way

If I had been there I would have been there telling them , I once had similar at Tower Hill where my Grandfather is comemorated (Lost in WW1) with some German Tourists jumping up and down on the Merchant navy memorial and strewing their food wrappers around..
