I agree with you 100%! Multiple back to back shooting will super freeze the orings and lead to failure, the same as leaving it charged you may get away with it a few times but eventually it will bite you in the a$$. Excellent video!

You gotta remember, in an emergency, just like the gavel, you're not reloading this and the company knows this so im assuming this is why the design is the way it is. But as i stated, shoot 2 mags , give it 15 - 20 minutes to warm up and go again. Think of it as if you're shooting a black powder revolver, a slow process.

As a less lethal weapon, you shouldn't have to fire more than one mag in an actual defensive situation anyway. If you've emptied the first mag, that will buy you enough time to reload with a new clip of kinetic rounds. The 12 gram co2 cartridge will allow you to fire about 10-12 rounds before it's completely depleted.
@TheJerzeyGuy18 күн бұрын
@@real45x63 unfortunately with this launcher you'll only get 1 Mag worth of rounds out of the CO2 and you're done, so reloading the Pistelle x68 is only possible when you get to a safe place. One of the reasons I love my FSC, with every reload you get a fresh CO2

For the center post oring you can look up "AS568-011 UC90 Cast Urethane O-Rings 90 Duro Disogrin 9251 TODI" The "12.5 mm" Inner plenum oring isnt 12.5, its 13mm ID (16mm OD 1.5mm C/S, 13mm ID). IDK where less lethal for dummies got that info. Let me freak you out a bit. The inner plenum "13mm" I just spoke about DELIVERED STOCK to you, is actually 16.5mm OD 1.5mm C/S 13.5.. ID. Once installed into the plenum it seals a 13mm round surface...

@@TheJerzeyGuy BTW side note: the larger 021 o-rings on the outside of the plenum and threaded back cap can just be 90A viton (3000 psi) or 90a buna (1500 psi). They shouldnt fail like, ever if the marker is greased. There are no real temp concerns like some think. Obv No one would want to shoot their marker/launcher if its frosted over, aside from that, its fine. The miniscule amount of time these will see cold temps, even between rapid shots is going to do essentially nothing. At the end of the day its meant for unloading 1 mag and getting the heck away from the situation.

I was gonna purchase one, but the o rings although u can get replacements, there is also cap issues, and the bolt can get outta place and have to be reset sometimes, plus a spring attached to trigger pops outta place, it's to many risk of failure with this and the galvel trips to sometimes, sadly to say the weaker launchers works more reliable but there not 50 j😢
@TheJerzeyGuy17 күн бұрын
@@JayJone5169 i hear ya, cap issue? Bolt getting out of place is probably due to not lubing the launcher, these things need a lot of lube & i mean every CO2 lubing but you can't use any ol lube, it has to be silicone lubricant. Otherwise it'll freeze up. Yes trigger spring is concerning, i saw that on DK Spenser video. I'm not to sure even weaker launchers are Free of malfunctions. Ive seen many videos with reviewers & even cops byrnas malfunctioning. In my opinion, there is no LL launcher on the market that doesn't malfunction, that doesn't need maintenance etc, whoever says that is trying to sell you something or is lying to you. In my experience with the Pistelle, i can't speak for everyone else, i haven't had o-ring issues. I did 1 time my bolt jammed right after me swapping the 021 to a viton 021 which i did disclose on a video. Other than that, no issues with both of our Pistelle x68. But this is my experience only, i can't speak for someone else.

@TheJerzeyGuy truth, that air gun Miami guy shoots his HDR 50, 68 flawlessly, he claims the oil drops helps, he gets 500plus or more with no issues, it's all about oiling, not letting it get dirty and taking it apart from time to time, higher power the more maintenance but one thing I can say for sure if u don't want issues or won't low maintenance, get a good quality 9mm hand gun, ak, or ar, even a black powdered for home defense, trusting these less lethals may get someone hurt or killed especially if I these issues happen when needed.

Thanks for the shout out. I went on the hunt for 90a Urethane orings today and have placed an order but i did skip that 12.5x1.5mm oring since the 014 is a very very close match that you have already tested and seems to be working well? Question while you got that FSC chamber there…do the outer chamber rings fit the x68 in the 021 spot? Theory is sound. When that bolt moves forward and opens the piston 011, that particular oring is hit with rapid expansion/decompression due to pressure and temperature differential as the co2 exchanges with ambient air. Probably be a couple of weeks before i see my new urethane orings.
@TheJerzeyGuy18 күн бұрын
@@lesslethalfordummies no problem buddy 👍🏻👍🏻, unfortunately the outer o-rings on the FSC chamber are 020 , they may fit but may leak , as you already know DK did that with the caption o-ring kit and still had a small leak. I ordered some of those 12.5x1.5m to continue to test orings, but yea the A014 from that harbor freight kit works perfectly at the moment. Theory is a good possibility, looking forward to seeing the test you do with those o-rings.
