i watched my father lay his ladder up against the the bottom part of a really tall gambrel barn roof and he ran up the ladder and when he got to the roof he just kept running, i was just a kid and i remember thinking how is he gonna get down now ... he literally slid down on his ass till his feet hit the ladder then spun around and climbed down. oh and he was wearing cowboy boots 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️ he was a nut , he used to climb and service coast guard radio towers too .

As someone who has worked in construction all my life and been in recovery yes this is very true. I cannot stand people that make the entire personality hey there he's just now in recovery and has yet to be humbled or he's one of them people that makes out his whole personality. Like the previous job I had there's a lot of people there using drugs and I kind of couldn't get away from it so I started realizing you know hey I'm the one that has a problem they might do but whatever with them I got to worry about me and I realized you know I should not expect other people or whatever around me ask me to go find somewhere else to work that those kind of people don't work and then I stay off drugs and I make more money.

I smoke weed and I get high all the time. I only mention this because it sounds like you think you're better than some people after reading your comments so let me give you a reality check. I can lay a square of shingles quicker than many. I lay metal roofs. I frame houses, rooms, windows, doors. I lay down OSB and plywood. I can wire a house by myself. I can replace hot water heaters in 1-2 hours depending on how many gallons its holding. I can change the elements in hot water heaters. I can lay the plumbing and drainage all throughout a house including burp valves and stink pipes. I can install the plumbing to sinks and showers. Ill install whirly birds for the attic to breath. I can hang drywall and mud and sand to make it look great. I lay hardwood and floating floors. I replace linoleum floors. I cut trim for doors and windows as well as baseboards and crown molding. I know how to use a metal break to wrap doors and windows. I install vinyl siding, J channel, and soffit. I install gutters using a gutter machine. Can you do half the work I just listed? I know how to install rebar and pour concrete and how to use different floats to make the concrete good and smooth or even texture it to give it a little more grab. I can make bird boxes for my metal facial to wrap around. I bet you can't do half of the work that I listed I'm 33 years old. I use old couch cushions on steep shingled roofs because it grabs the shingles great while wearing a harness of course. Don't want OSHA after you. I called OSHA on my previous employer because we were working three stories high on a 12 pitch roof with some of the pitches falling off to an 8 in some areas and he wasn't concerned about it, yeah that was a $6,000 fine. I install back splash and tile floors install sinks and paint houses.. I bet most people couldn't do half of the work I just named. Also if you drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes then you're doing drugs because you'd be using an addictive substance that releases dopamine. Marijuana is not an addictive substance. I'll smoke and relax, but I'm not going to gets the shakes like an alcoholic or become easily agitated like someone without cigarettes. Remember I only said this because from your comments to some viewers you seem to think you're better than some people. Have a nice day.
