This was original epic voice guy. I think they said he was a military reservist and got called up. So they switched to current epic voice guy.

The camera shake was actually intentional. I'n an interview, ryan said that the editor of deadpool used it, and put it on editing softwares, and ryan intentionally used it! Cool peice of trivia!

Honestly, the complaints about the failsafe are wrong, imo. Mind-controlled or not, I think any scientist would put a shutdown failsafe in a device like that, in case of malfunction. I mean, it's not like they could test it beforehand to make sure it worked. Plus, the mind-control victims were completely loyal to Loki, there may have been a justifiable fear that the aliens would betray him. Hell, Loki himself could have ordered it be added for that very reason.

People always gloss over the fact that Hawkeye is described in Marvel comics as "The deadliest man on earth". He killed a room full of men by throwing his fingernails at them. He was tied to a wooden chair so he dug his fingernails into the wood and pulled them out. He then threw them cutting open the necks of his kidnappers.

This voice for honest trailer was one of the first voices . I agree with u that its mesh. But honestly I laughed on both ... 😅. Pitch meeting also gets it for this . As u said its one of the old ones. U did not disappoint Mike. U still gave us a morning smile. Have a wonderful weekend.

🤣😂🤣 I really thought it was a joke at first! I didn't like that voice at all. I just reacted to Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and it was the very first guy who used to do these. His voice wasn't anywhere as bad as this guy's though. Epic Voice Guys voice is just the best though.

That honest trailer voice is like nails on a chalkboard... or the reaction of that guy who walked in on the Back to the Future PM! There's another video he's on cause the current guy was on vacation or something. Pitch meeting guy didn't really have his dramatic effects until the "what if" videos. PM still won this hands down.

Yeah, it was the old Voice in Honest Trailer. But I have come to decide that 99.9% of the times PM is better than HT. Except for some "visual" jokes or, like "Deadpool", (Do that next).

That voice for Honest Trailer was the previous voice over guy before the current one. I think the reason he got replace by the current one was he was called into service. I know you said you didn't like the voice but just think if he didn't get called into service he might still be the voice over guy.

I Actually think they were both good instead of not good. I was so confused with the Honest trailers voice too, but now I am comparing it to other Honest trailers voice and I kinda like it better weirdly. I think they were on equal footing because Honest trailers was.. weird and Pitch Meeting back then doesn't quite stand where it does today because it felt slower and less comedic. I still think I like this HT better than HT today, Imo.

Seriously though why did they go straight to nuke the city? Like try with tanks, army, air force, navy seals etc involved 1st at least. All I remember was it being local police officers. And have police and army do a evacuation of civilians if they would nuke. Then in captain America Civil war the government is upset with the Avengers for a accident causing a explosion on one building when the government tried to nuke a city filled with their own people and a hell lot of people

Pitch Meeting for sure. I had seen both of them several times, and the older voice for the Honest Trailers is hard to listen to. Also, the very first Honest Trailer (Phantom Menace in 3D, I believe) had another voice that was a bit over the top as well.

I remember watching this pitch back when it was fairly new so I loved it. But I can understand how you cannot like it if you're so use to the new and improved version of pitch meeting. I've never seen Honest Trailer with the old voice over guy so yeah disliked that video but if I was familiar with him then I bet I would of enjoyed that trailer too. It's funny when an artist change styles the people who rocked with them in the beginning may get mad and dislike it because it's different. But when a newcomer who wasn't there before the change go back to the old old stuff they dislike it because they're use to the new stuff.

SPOILER ALERT!! If you haven't seen any of the Avengers, don't read past the 3rd sentence after this one!! At first, I thought you had a parodie video of the Honest Trailers! That voice...and some of the jokes... were off-putting! On a scale from 1-10, Pitch Meeting gets a 2 and Honest Trailers gets a -5!! ***[Age of Ultron... The REAL villain of that movie was Tony Stark!! Everyone died because of him, and the team had to come together to clean up his mess! Infinity War and Endgame were good, although, I wonder why Natasha had to stay dead if the Soul Stone was given back? Perhaps trade the stone for Natasha? Otherwise, why not keep it? If they were worried about upsetting the timeline... TOO LATE! They killed the Thanos from after the snap, then when he came from the past to the present, they killed him then as well, thus negating the whole timeline of the Infinity War!!]

Pitch meeting edged ahead and I really liked Producer Guy's fourth wall breaking wink. Honest Trailer's line "...which doesn't matter because that shot was awesome" sums up the heart and soul of most of the magic....err... super hero movies. Who needs depth ,comprehension and a tight script when you can wake up the audience after boring fillers with punching everyone and everything possible? Between the two you get a full picture of a movie that seems as though it was put together by people who came up with some "Ooooh that'll be so cool" ideas, found out there was too much run time left and had to scribble some characters in not punching mode filler shots. A number of Hollywood producers and writers would collectively faint if they were denied the right to use sky beams, time travel, portals, universe controlling magical objects and generic disposable ugly Alien armies tropes for as little as one year. The disposable bad armies are best when ugly, and as insectoid as possible so the viewer won't identify with them. It wouldn't do to have people see their heroes mowing down thousands of "people", not mean critters with weapons, who may have feelings, connections and needs like themselves. They may be under some sort of mind, magic or magical science control by the big bad guy leading them. You'll never see a scene with the heroes sitting in bar celebrating their big win when in walks some of the clean up crew (someone has to remove all the losers remains) and they're looking a bit upset. Seems they found lots of photos, journals, and recordings on some of the bad army. Wives/husbands, family, friends pictured and possibly some recorded their story. Perhaps how the big bad guy overtook their people and now use them as hostages to make them fight for him or how they're under a control and have no idea how to break free. This round is not a let down, tastes vary wildly and there's no predicting what people will like. There's always something interesting.
