I wonder if rewatching will give me a new perspective on what happens in the movies after it. They made such a big deal about having Thor go back to Asgard in Endgame, mainly for his convo with his mom, but I wonder if there is anything else I may have missed.

I am biased towards Pitch Meetings. So even when something is equal to it, I usually still give them the win. Honest trailers has to be better not equal for me to go with them. Just my opinion though.

My kids actually asked me to turn this movie off halfway through because they said it was boring. The Honest Trailer was pretty good on this one. Still not as good as Pitch Meeting. I was a HUGE Chuck fan from day one lol. I very much noticed when Zachary Levi showed up in the MCU lol... and c'mon guys, Malachi's motivation DID in fact go further than just being evil. I don't think he was really evil at ALL. Dude was just dedicated to restoring the universe to how it used to be (before all this damn light 😆).

Another GREAT video! Really enjoying these, and the voting is fun! OK... For me it was PM, partly because of the catch phrases, and partly because of the way he addresses plot problems in a funnier way (this time) than the Honest Trailer. Favorite part for both is pointing out that Heimdal could see everything, except the spy... and Jane... and the big fat ship (that is the tip of the invading force) until it literally looms directly above him!! Yes, please! I would enjoy a "Try not to laugh" series! You should get a Marvel mug... although in DC, Aquaman's mug is the one to have! Or an Aquaman beer stein!

They're both great, different styles but equally good for me this time. Pitch Meeting smooth burns roasted the whole script. As standout lines I really like Honest Trailers "Perfectly adequate Marvel movie"(ouch) and " ...why does the Elf man want to shoot magic Kool-aid into the sky holes?" Uggg.. the pixelated clips. Come on man, put it all out there or put it away. Pixelation is the stuff of nightmares. It does has funny moments, good action scenes and great visuals, too bad they didn't have enough money left in the budget to buy a "Make Some Sense" script .

I WROTE A FINAL REPORT ON THIS MOVIE, WHAT YOU THINK XD I would make a recommendation of a better plot idea below for Thor the Dark World had a lot of plot holes that didn't make an impact on the movie, it would have made a better story if it was focused more on Asgard. The movie did not have earth included, but if they wanted to include Thor lover, it should have played out that Odin(Thor's father) was trying to get him engaged to a princess of another realm but Thor was already in love with Jane, this would be like space fantasy. Thor would have to decide to keep loyalty to Asgard or go with his heart. The story in the movie didn’t show much of a growth in the hero, which is important in filmmaking as viewers can easily find characters relatable. On that point, the main reason a lot of marvel fans including me dislike the movie was that it didn't have a strong or reasonable plot or clear dialogue. I would focus on how the movie could have created a better bridge and sequel, as it played a very rocky foundation for fans to know the point of the movie. I have a plot suggestion that would have made for a better movie. The movie begins with Thor bringing Jane to Asgard to meet his parents. As he tells them that he loves her and seeks to marry her on Asgard. Thor's parents don’t agree as tradition is to keep marriage within the race, this would cause a dispute in the family between mother and son. She would also suggest one of the strongest female warriors named Lady Sid to be who she wanted him to marry. This could be used to give an inside into Thor's mother's backstory, how she met Odin and became queen of Asgard, and why it is important to keep marriage within the kingdom. Due to the dispute in the kingdom, Thor's mother goes to catch a break at her favourite place in the hills, which is where Malekith would arrive and use his dark magic to control her, he then tries to use Thor's mother to kill Thor's father. Malekith's plans fail as it turns out Asgardian and gets poisoned by the aether. This would give the villain Malekith a memorable intro, as he wields an ability that can bring our hero Thor to his knees, which sets up a light versus darkness battle later on. The kingdom in grief and Odin has to go bury his wife alone at her favourite place in the hills, where he gets ambushed by a Malekith who uses the power of the aether to suppress Odin's power and trap him in a cage of darkness. This gives the viewers a briefing on how much of a treat our villain is and how powerful the ability he controls. Also makes a much better reason for Odin to be absent instead of the weak excuse the movie gave. Since Odin has been displaced from the kingdom, Malekith’s army attacks Asgard. They are easily killed off by Asgardians best warrior’s but Malekieth arrives and resurrects his falling army which comes back even stronger. This leads to a fight between Thor and Malekith in which he is defeated and poisoned by the aether. The warrior shows up to recuse Thor and retreat to a haven. Asgard is covered in dark clouds as Malekeith opens up a portal for the darkness to consume it. This set to seem like our villain has accomplished his goal but also sets up for a great return to power story for our hero Thor. At the haven, Jane can use her scientific intellect to create a cure for the aether poison. In which he has slow a steady recovery but still unable to use his powers as he used to. Malekith arrives to trap Thor in the dark cage as he did Odin after realizing that he is Odin's son. Thor tries to summon his hammer but it doesn't respond due to his suppressed power. Thor gives in to his defeat and as Malekith is about to put him away, Jane charges in from behind with Mjolnir and strikes Malekith. This would create a huge surprise to viewers that Jane is worthy to wield Thor’s hammer. Malekeith knocks her out into a lake below and Thor jumps into the water to save her. He pulls her out but is incapacitated which makes him angry, he screams out in agony. He plants a kiss on her lip, with his head down, eyes closed in distress. Thor opens his eyes full of thunder as he summons Mjolnir into his arm and the showdown begins. Malekith is pummeled by this enraged Thor, the brothers Thor and Loki unite to avenge their mother's death. This pushes the revenge plot further and makes love the beacon of hope that propels our hero to unlock a stronger version of himself. When it comes to the dialogue in the movie, the use of foreshadowing, more background story on Odin (Thor’s Father), Frigga (Thor’s Mother) and Malekith (the Villain). This is important because even if a character is not the protagonist, the things they say in the movie or instructions they give to push the plot makes them more memorable. The topic of interaction between characters gave insight into the daily life of Asgardians and how Thor is seen by other Asgardians.

You put a lot of work into this!! Nice job!! I agree with you that Odin, Frigga and Malekith needed more background told in this film. It would've 1) given them a little more screen time and 2) helped the audience connect to them more. Especially Malekith!!! I wanted him to be so much more than just an evil dark elf.

I liked HT on this, but only slightly. The movie wasn't even interesting enough to make fun of. On a side note, I'm trying to move my channel to rumble and I'm wondering about a theme. I was thinking of doing "Sea Stories" since people are always drawn to my personal experiences and knowledge. Maybe people want to hear about my uncle making me run around as a little kid so he can practice lassoing my feet like a cowboy. Maybe about going to Mongolia. With Joe Rogan's move and his videos suddenly unavailable on YT, people are looking for competition. YT is still the king of the hill.

I think the Original Iron Man has seen the most normal tv time. That used to be on all the time on basic cable. This is not a very good movie, without Loki to bring it up it would be worse than Iron Man 2. Not a big fan of Portman, not sure if it is prequel carry over or not though. I actually like Katt Dennings character more. I know part of it is I find her way more attractive, but she seems more interesting as just a personality.

Thor: Dark World really was just one of those movies that you watch it, shrug, and move on. Likewise, I basically just remember something something ether, something something portals. It just wasn't memorable, or very interesting. I haven't really been impressed by any of the Thor movies. Thor Ragnarok was at least fun at times, although that movie was largely a watered down Planet Hulk, so it at least had a diversion from being all about Thor.

Yeah, the Dark World was kinda garbage. Not gonna lie. Both videos were kinda meh to me, because again... It's like describing a garbage fire. Still, talking about garbage LOL I LOVED Thor 3 though. 1 was okay, 2 was God awful and 3 was the best out of them all. Perfect mix of comedy, violence and Goldblum is amazing in that.

This one was horrible. I appreciated the first Thor movie better and that one was just mediocre. The Dark World had awesome VFX, action and make up and all of that brought down by the storytelling. It was just bland even with all the cool things going on. Unrecoverable storytelling. That was not easy, quite an inconvenient. Pitch Meet wins this one for me.
