If I had written the scene where Gwen is bitten, I would’ve had it where it was the exact same way Peter got his powers in in the classic origin, but Gwen is near him. Neither of them see the spider coming down. It’s about to land on Peter‘s hand, but it lands on Gwen’s hand instead.
