Zack Snyder has been given rull reign by Netlix to do whatever he wants to do, and apparently what that is, is kinda Star Wars but with a lot more farming?
Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargive rdefinitely raises some questions. Like how long would this movie be at normal speed? Why is there so much farming and so little character development? Why does she have a nickname that implies her enemies always survive her attacks?
To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver!

The worst part is the princess saying *"I forgive you".* Really, that's her last words to the woman who betrayed her without any coercion? Not *"Why have you done this?"* *"We trusted you!"* *"Please don't kill me!"* *"Somebody help me!"* *"I don't want to die"* *"Strike me down and I'll become more powerful than you could possibly imagine"* Y'know, usually the things a child would say if they're about to be murdered.

I was thinking about the Magnificent Seven, seven warriors defend a farming village against an army of bandits, Remember all seven gunfighters have distinct and interesting personality and motivation and the farmers are relatable and the crisis brings out the best in some and the worst in others, and the villain is simultaneously charismatic and dangerous, smart and unpredictable with a personal code. Great acting great action that was a great movie, I miss movies like that

@MusicoftheDamned
@MusicoftheDamned 24 күн бұрын
She did? Ha. That woman just couldn't catch a break outside of I guess escaping these movies unlike poor Sofia Boutella. I find it funny that the Honest Trailers review pointed out she pointlessly cut off her hands and replaced them with metal variants to wield the Temu Lightsabers...when apparently the story then also shows you can just wrap the handles in leather to achieve the same effect. Whoops.
@Mario_Angel_Medina
@Mario_Angel_Medina 24 күн бұрын
@@MusicoftheDamned I may had misunderstood the film (the dialogue is generic and ambiguous), but it gave me the impression that she didn't cut her arms only because the swords are literaly too hot to handle, but also because the prostetic hands have some kind of swordmanship software programed onto them, and that's how in a short time she turned from a simple villager into a killing machine. Which makes the awful fight choreography of her fight scenes even worse
@MusicoftheDamned
@MusicoftheDamned 24 күн бұрын
@@Mario_Angel_Medina Noted. That's even funnier if she both died despite supposedly having such an advantage--maybe also Temu brand?--over others *and* the fight choreography was bad anyway, which I imagine the excessive slo-mo didn't help.
