I mean, yeah, but they also might've had their own ceremony elsewhere. Wakanda is fairly secretive and a state funeral seems like a very traditional event. They might not have wanted any outsiders there. Also, was T'Challa actually that close with any of the Avengers? The only one I was actually expecting might show up was Bucky, since he lived in Wakanda for so long, but T'Challa never really had the same emotional ties to the Avengers the way the others did.

@@FalconPaladin if I’m not mistaken, when she removes the spear it sounds as if nano parts on the suit move because I’m pretty sure I heard the sound they make when the helmet appears. Most likely this was the suit kinda patching the wound temporarily. Also, based on the first movie it can be inferred that the heart shaped herb gives the person a healing factor as tchalla heals from his wounds sustained in the challenge rather quick.

It's the fact that she drags herself off the spear. Takes a few faltering steps. Then immediately does a full acrobatic flip to land in front of Namor instead of walking around him. Actually made me giggle during their epic final battle

I dunno, but the way I understood it is that T'Challa kind of made his situation hidden from them. Coz I remember at the mid-credits scene, Nakia said something like she and T'Challa were preparing the latter's inevitable demise in relation to how they're gonna raise Toussaint, which clearly implies that T'Challa knows too that he's gonna die. He probably didn't say anything until everything's too late, that's why.

Freezing him would at least give her some more time. Hell, they could use it to their advantage in the script. Shuri has to freeze T'Challa, the entire movie happens and when she finally figures out how to synthesize the cure she gives it to him and he returns, only now played by a different actor, which they can either justify or not. That way the character can continue existing and Disney doesn't have to take advantage of Boseman's death for profit.

This is the first time watching one of these and not seeing him talk about something that I thought he would definitely talk about. The fact that the sea people couldn't die in the fight with Okoye. But when Nakia came to rescue Shuri, she easily killed one of them. "But, I thought these people couldn't die" "I'm gonna need you to get all the way off my back about these people not dying. That was the first part of the movie, but now that it serves a purpose to the plot, they can die". Otherwise, spot on as always. I am not sure if this series has ruined movie watching for me, or made it even better, or a combination of both. But, I can say that I immediately check this channel after any new popular movie I watch.

All the points Ryan missed: 1. How the f do you bug Wakandan tech without anyone noticing? Bullcrap. 2. Namor shouldn’t have facial hair. The least they could have done was ask the actor to shave. Great character otherwise. 3. Shuri takes the black panther serum instead of giving it to someone that can actually fight. 4. Mom character makes big dumb dumb that shouldn’t have happened. Also mom character says she gave everything when she did not. Her family gave everything, she did nothing. 5. Taking advantage of Chadwick’s death to commercialize the movie which did absolutely nothing to honor him. 6. Shuri has never fought a day in her life, whereas Namor has fought for centuries and is literally invulnerable and has hulk tier strength. There’s no chance in hell that Shuri should have beat him even with that shoehorned kryptonite excuse. 7. Shuri sacrifices innumerable Wakandan soldiers for her own vengeance and nobody has a problem with it. 8. Every single Atlantean is superhuman. The Wakandan’s shouldn’t stand a chance against similarly equipped, similarly trained, physically superior opponents, but somehow did, because reasons. 9. Akuma and Priestess girl were done dirty when they should have won those respective fights fairly quickly. 10. The ship that held Namor and Shuri was shattered into little pieces, it should absolutely NOT have the ability to shoot flames at a designated location on command. 11. Shuri isn’t a fighter. She’s a primped princess that has never gone through much physical pain. The spear injury should have sent her into shock at best and killed her instantly at worst. 12. It’s totally absurd that Namor and Shuri somehow had an extra flying ship to take them back to the water ship. It’s even more absurd to think that they could have gotten back in time that any Wakandan’s survived whatsoever. 13. How the hell does Shuri get random visions at totally convenient times? Stupid plot convenience. 14. Namor immediately starts fighting like a loser when plot demands it. 15. Where the f did that spear Shuri used come from? E only spear that was there was used to IMPALE her. She broke it and it was still in that rock. That other spear she grabbed shouldn’t exist. 16. They were right next to a beach during the entire fight. At any point, Namor could have gone for a quick dip. He definitely had the time and means to do it, he was bodying her for most of the fight after all. 17. The fact that ANYONE agrees to Shuri’s STUPID plan. 18. They just HAD to shoehorn that completely absurd gay part at the end. Nonsense. She had a friggin husband. Just nonsense

Yeah, Namor could have easily won. That kinda bugged me. I mean he's smart enough to escape a Wakandan super heater aircraft, but not smart enough to think land is a little dangerous for a weakened flying water guy, maybe I should run or fly to the water while she's still recovering, so that I can recover, or just leave her here to go wipe out her army that's in the middle of an ocean, where I have virtually every advantage. Nah, I'll just attack her, then try to get to water when I'm even weaker and can't fly, so that the movie doesn't end with me wiping out Wakanda.

Now, I'm Brazilian so Spanish sounds very similar to Portuguese and I gotta say, the name 'Talokan' is almost exactly like you would say 'he real crazy' (Ta loucao) and that was def a plus for me.

I checked out at infinity war. Ant man and the wasp, captain marvel, and end game are all awful movies. End game is just a couple hours of fan tribute with nothing of substantial value. So bad.

I didn't think about that, but yeah, you're right. Namor and Sub-Mariner are already incredibly similar. Mix that with movie-goers who aren't really familiar with comics and I could see them wanting to avoid the "Namor is a Sub-Mariner clone" comparisons.
