My house was the house in the neighborhood everyone would just, be at. Which my mother loved because her Italian ass could feed so many and my dad could mentor the youngins. We had all the parties at our house. When our HOA took away our basketball courts, we put some up. When they started charging us for it being in the street, the homies had no problem taking it from the front to back and put it back when the street lights came on. I'd often come home and my friends would just already be there. I'm the youngest of 4 and wrre all close in age so we always had some friends over. Plus being Italian we had family over all the time especially in the better months. I hope one day my house will be the house the neighborhood kids share their childhoods at.

My aunt literally hoped a fence to take a dog that had been chained up for years. She was a chocolate lab and had to be at least 80 pounds, malnourished. The vet later said she was probably about 15 years old and hadn't been able to run or move her knees much from being on such a short chain for a decade. That dog had the best last 3 years of her life.

Yes, well, many dogs can get pretty aggressive towards other dogs. My dog isn't always that nice (she kinda has a childhood trauma of unleashed dogs running straight up to her), and once she even bit another dog. An unsocialised dog can be even more problematic. That's why they had doubts in the video. So please, guys, don't let your dog run up to other people or other people's dogs. Where I live, soo many idiots think leashing their dogs is unnecessary or even bad, but don't bother training their dogs. They let the dogs storm up to everyone, which is how my dog got her maybe-trauma. They say "the dogs can solve their problems on their own". (By the way, some of these dogs run away, killing wildlife or getting killed by boars.) And if a dog gets bitten? I nearly kicked a dog in the side once that was tackling and threatening my dog, who was absolutely scared, and the owner didn't do ANYTHING about it. He just called the dog back when I had nearly reached the dog. I almost hurt an animal to protect my dog because the owner was negligent. I was so angry that I, an unconfrontational person, yelled at the guy that he shouldn't let the dog run loose if it's aggressive towards other dogs. So having doubts about the sociability of a dog is an understandable thing. Many dogs just aren't nice, and human ignorance and negligence makes it worse.
@laurenmellen6543 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I wonder if they tried introducing him to other dogs or how they went about it if they did. A lot of people think that just because a dog is friendly, other friendly dogs will like them. Then, when an under socialized dog finds them overwhelming, it means they don't like other dogs. Or maybe they assumed that because he was an under socialized pit, that he would be dog agressive. That's a safe assumption, but would they have made the same assumption if he was a lab or retriever? Any undersocialized breed is capable of agression. I work with dogs all the time as a groomer and pet sitter, and have met far fewer agressive pitties than other breeds. I mostly just feel bad for this poor dog who almost wasn't given a chance to find a four legged friend.
@shanewilson79943 жыл бұрын
@@solar0wind I agree. And with dogs you gotta be safer than sorry because a dog fight can get serious and can be dangerous for the owners to split up. I love Mint, I love how sociable and nice he is, but his owners are irresponsible and that bothers me. But I am really happy to see that he and Willie got along, and Willie ended up being able to be around other dogs.

I was that kid. At some point one of my neighbor friends said "it's weird how you just come over and knock on the door instead of calling first", so I stopped doing that. It seemed weird to me at the time to call someone two houses down or right next door.

Aaawwww. Food for souls to watch this video. Being met with kindness and interest ...The wolf ice dog with warm heart and eyes and mom who wanted his and the naighbours dog the best...brought out the best in him, the support he so needed and everyone needs. Melts my heart to see . Thank you!

I would never take to heart what shelter workers say. All dogs are different at shelters. It is a highly strung atmosphere with so much sadness and puppers that are just so scared its horrible. You get the furbaby out of that environment and they are totally different animals. Bless both these gorgeous babies. It made me wonder why this gorgeous husky was always out and able to be at this woman's yard all the time. Made me wonder about his owners.

Sadly... our sweet beautiful Pitties are just misunderstood. When treated with gentle kindness & affection, they're gentle, kind & so affectionate. And when they're given pure love... OHHH how they love us back. Unconditionally. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

This is Willie the office dog from another Dodo video. His distinguished gray face really gives him away.
