PITTSBURG 3 ALARM STRUCTURE FIRE

UPDATE: THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE WAS DETERMINED TO BE 2 POTS OF OIL LEFT ON STOVE TO COOK SOME FOOD AND RESIDENT FELL ASLEEP AND WOKE UP TO HER KITCHEN ON FIRE. RESIDENT OPENED DOOR WHICH FUELED THE FIRE EVEN MORE WHICH WAS ANOTHER MISTAKE.

Thank you CCCFPD! These folks worked hard and they were tired. Now only if we can find out if the fire was the result of that party that was going on, and why the external alarm didn't work and why, again, first responders couldn't get through the emergency gate (one would think the gas main rupture from last year would have changed some things).

@@ThatCameraman707 yes! However my 8 yr old grandson’s best friend, playmate, classmate is now displaced. Thankfully they have family in the area. You video does punctuate how frightening this can be. Especially in the middle of the night. News media made little mention by 6 am. Hope they got your onsite reporting in someway. Great photojournalism!
