Those opening seconds reminds me of when I'd roll the trebuchet projectiles down hills as the defender of a siege in Shogun 2 so I could general snipe way out of range. Probably won't work but extremely satisfying when it does.

to answer your question. you are more likely to run from a beyonet charge than a volley of musket balls. It's a psychological weapon the beyonet like a terror weapons. The old guard routed the Prussians at Linley with a massed beyonet charge as there was a rain storm rendering muskets wet and un usable.

Honestly, anyone who asking for NTW3, I tell you what, its hard to switching mods and back to base game. In order to watch a replay, you must have the correct source and files to make sure its working. Not just that, using mod manager can be hell lot of headache, even more headache when you have to uninstall the game and to install it back, pretty wasting time. This is not a question of uploading video in KZbin, but the management and correct use of the base game in order to view the replay. I once tried to view a vanilla replay on a modded game, and what I get is different, its like watching two AI army fighting. So the base game is very very important. This is not an easy task, especially for KZbinr.

Killing the enemy general in like the 1st minute is actually fairly suboptimal. I mean, obviously better than not killing them at all, but the morale shock only lasts something like a minute an a half... what you really want is for the enemy general to die when you're already engaged or about to engage.
