i compared mine to the previous one for the Dark Knight and I think the structure is better , as i found the joints are way tighter and the head sculpt is slightly different not by much but it is different , you notice it mianly around the eye areas

Also another option would be to get another Batman Begins action figure with the briefcase of tools, it comes with a batarang, grapple gun, and night vision scope.

since Batman Begins didn't have a "Movie Masters" line, Mattel released some Batman Begins figures during the Dark Knight line including the Begins Batsuit. However the "standard" Dark Knight batman is exactly the same as the new one.

K-Mart sells a version that includes blueprints for the Bat vehicles...I'm trying to find that version but have only come across the regular one which they also sell.

Aonther option I thought of was to purchase the 3 3/4 inch Caped Crusader Batman and give his Batarang and Grapple gun to this figure. Both of them seem like they would fit the figures hands with no trouble.

That sucks he is a re-pack. I also can't stand the scale of these figures, they don't seem to fit in with ANY other line I collect. The articulation is good though.

You could tighten the head by pooping the head off and dabbing the ball of the joint with super glue
