@@_ripVanWinkle_ for me, in order for Batman to be great, Bruce Wayne has to be excellent and Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne was almost nonexistent. He was basically Batman for the majority of the movie with only a little bit of Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne is the more complex part of the character as there’s the fake playboy persona for the public at large to see and the real Bruce Wayne is only ever seen by few people like Alfred. Batman is the persona where Bruce puts his anger and pain into. Bale’s interpretation is the best. I don’t blame Pattinson as he didn’t write the film and my gripes with the portrayal of Bruce Wayne goes to the script. Pattinson did a good job with what he had to work with for the character, but Bale consistently had better material to work with and he constantly hit it out of the park in each film.
