We use Genki textbooks at my university in the states. This semester will be my first time using the Genki 2 book and I'm super excited! They're definitely helpful, and I recommend getting the workbook as well. They sync the lessons up really nicely.

The Genki textbooks are the best! We used those in my university Japanese classes, and they were really easy for self study. The companion workbooks are great for learning kanji. You inspired me to go back and refresh my memory on what I’ve studied!

The Genki textbook is great. We used the Genki elementary texts in my college Japanese courses and I highly recommend them. Good Luck! Also, Merry Christmas and Happy New year!!

Genki is really good! We used it in my college Japanese course and it helped sooooo much! I recommend the workbook to go with it, it's really helpful! And there's an answer book somewhere, maybe on amazon, so you can check your answers. Good luck studying!!
