Thanks! Exactly what I needed. Just some suggestions to keep the stuff from flying all over the place and having to go pick it up. Change the redstone a bit. Surround yourself with 2 high wood blocks. Put two high to the left of where you put the Netherrack to convert. Put wood block on top of the dispenser AND on top of the observer. Change the redstone line to feed out the back of the observer onto the Warped Nyelum block in the back instead of on the top (and back) of the observer. It makes all of the drops come towards you instead of go all over the place. You get most of them directly in your inventory that way.

I would recommend not growing the trees Underground! I found that when a really tall one decides to grow it will skip across the ground and grow on top of the surface. It's a good and bad thing but the trees do not overcome blocks but they do continue growing on top of blocks like the surface

So, Pix. The reason that second design for the Nylium farm worked better with the Warped than the Crimson was the North-West bias. (I was actually kinda proud I knew that was gonna happen beforehand without seeing it happen beforehand) Basically the order of operations for each tick starts in the Northwest and then spreads systematically. Because of that, the Nylium was checking "Is there a Nylium next to me? if so, grow" in a row, from the left to the right of your design. Since the ones on the left check first, and they did have a nylium, they changed, and thusly were the right block to spread for the one next to them. Reverse this doesn't count because only the ones on the right had adequate "partners". This can be fixed by moving the selection levers to the Left of your design.

The crimson nylium thing in the last design happens because of update order mechanics but I'm sure you know that. Maybe for the crimson nylium switch you can redirect the power source to the other side to it works the same? Idk. It's a great design
@protyaysamajdar99084 жыл бұрын
I think the problem you are facing with crimson is the dispensers from the left fire just a bit earlier than the one on it's right so by the time the right one fires the left netherack has already got converted so the next one gets converted. But for the crimson one by the time one of the netherack turns crimson the ones in the left have already been bone mealed.
@protyaysamajdar99084 жыл бұрын
Hope you see this post and tell me whether I am correct or not. Big fan of yours. At first I didn't like Minecraft but after seeing you I understood what a marvelous game it is.
@DiddyTheDiddlyDiddler4 жыл бұрын
Whether or not the nylium spreads has to do with the block update order. Becuase the crimson nylium is in a different spot to the warped nylium and the dispensers update in a certain way, you get less crimson nylium
@dr.prismatic51184 жыл бұрын
As a builder/map designer, crimson grass is good for a fungal outbreak, especially combined with trees with obsidian bases, and basalt about half way up. It gives a corruption vibe.

Ray Works and Tango both made an awesome fully automatic warped wart/crimson wart farm.
@Tscott994 жыл бұрын
When I found a warped forest, I took one warped nylium from it and returned to the overworld. Placed it down next to a bunch of netherrack, bonemealed the netherrack until it was all nylium. Bonemealed the nylium until I got the fungi. Bonemealled the fungi to get the trees. Chopped it all down. An infinite supply of the new wood, shroomlights, and vines from one nylium block (and a lot of bonemeal).
@_Abjuranax_4 жыл бұрын
Blue Fungi, Blue Vines, and Warped Nylium are all you really need from the Warped Forest. Try setting up a Fox Powered Sweetberry Farm to automatically Compost tons of Bonemeal. The Warped and Crimson Woods are also Fire-Proof, so they would be excellent for roofing materials as well if Fire Tick is still on in your world.
@renjo98534 жыл бұрын
I think the second to the last design is more efficient. Because the last design will burn you out. I think the location of the observer is the reason why the crimson nylium cannot occupy every nether block. From the last design, you'll notice that the observer was on the left part, same with the warped nylium. The redstone signal from the observer gives off from where its location to the furthest location of the redstone dust. That's why the warped nylium spreads more than the crimson one.

I am not sure but I guess that the problem with the crimson nylium not spreading, like how the warped nylium did is because i think the power source is towards the left and it takes time for the redstone signal to go from one redstone dust to the next one (left to right), like a very very tiny amount of time so that we cannot not pick up with our naked eyes, but i guess that is sufficient enough for the dispenser to bone meal the netherrack and convert it into the warped nylium before the redstone signal completely moves to the right by a block. Which simply means that the dispenser bone meal-ing system (which starts a little later to the redstone pulse) keeps up with the redstone signal which is moving from left to right, creating a chain reaction that allows the spread of the nylium, but when the spread starts from the opposite side of the redstone source, it wouldnt quite work that way
